Stability and viscoelastic analysis about the surrounding rock of highway tunnel
2011 International Conference on Electric Technology and Civil Engineering (ICETCE), 2011According to actual engineering of a highway tunnel, this paper studies the tunnel stability without support and with support by Poynting-Thomson model. The transformation law of the stress with time of the bolt-shotcrete support is discussed. The results show that theoretical calculations and field monitoring data are in comparative agreement.

Analysis on Surrounding Rock Stability of Joints Strike Parallel to the Cavern
Applied Mechanics and Materials, 2014In order to study the influence on the different parts of the cavern by joints, the three-dimensional model is built by Patran and then calculated with FLAC3D after meshing. Seven working conditions about different inclination of joints (0°15°30°45°60°75°90°) are considered in the calculation.
