Boundary value problems for systems of non-degenerate difference-algebraic equations

open access: yesVisnik Harkivsʹkogo Nacionalʹnogo Universitetu im. V.N. Karazina. Cepiâ Matematika, Prikladna Matematika i Mehanika, 2019
The study of differential-algebraic boundary value problems was initiated in the works of K. Weierstrass, N.N. Luzin and F.R. Gantmacher. Systematic study of differential-algebraic boundary value problems is devoted to the work of S.

Problems of Stability of Dynamic Macroeconomic Models [PDF]

open access: yesProblemi Ekonomiki, 2019
This paper deals with the problems of stabilizing economic growth using traditional macroeconomic strategies. The goal taken implies a large-scale use of the machinery of the qualitative theory of discrete economic dynamics.

Sequence determinants of RNA G‐quadruplex unfolding by Arg‐rich regions

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We show that Arg‐rich peptides selectively unfold RNA G‐quadruplexes, but not RNA stem‐loops or DNA/RNA duplexes. This length‐dependent activity is inhibited by acidic residues and is conserved among SR and SR‐related proteins (SRSF1, SRSF3, SRSF9, U1‐70K, and U2AF1).

Fuzzy Numerical Solution via Finite Difference Scheme of Wave Equation in Double Parametrical Fuzzy Number Form

open access: yesMathematics, 2021
The use of fuzzy partial differential equations has become an important tool in which uncertainty or vagueness exists to model real-life problems. In this article, two numerical techniques based on finite difference schemes that are the centered time ...

Multiple-relaxation-time lattice Boltzmann model for compressible fluids

open access: yes, 2010
We present an energy-conserving multiple-relaxation-time finite difference lattice Boltzmann model for compressible flows. This model is based on a 16-discrete-velocity model.

Cauchy boundaries in linearized gravitational theory [PDF]

open access: yes, 2000
We investigate the numerical stability of Cauchy evolution of linearized gravitational theory in a 3-dimensional bounded domain. Criteria of robust stability are proposed, developed into a testbed and used to study various evolution-boundary algorithms ...

The (Glg)ABCs of cyanobacteria: modelling of glycogen synthesis and functional divergence of glycogen synthases in Synechocystis sp. PCC 6803

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

Vorschlag zur Berechnung beheizter kriechender Fallfilme

open access: yesCHIMIA, 1977
An analysis is presented for flow properties of a viscous liquid film falling on a heated inclined plane. The mathematical techniques of boundary-layer theory are used, and the continuum-, monumentum- and energy equations are solved numerically using an

A methionine‐lined active site governs carbocation stabilization and product specificity in a bacterial terpene synthase

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
This study reveals a unique active site enriched in methionine residues and demonstrates that these residues play a critical role by stabilizing carbocation intermediates through novel sulfur–cation interactions. Structure‐guided mutagenesis further revealed variants with significantly altered product profiles, enhancing pseudopterosin formation. These

Valosin‐containing protein counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its ATPase activity in vitro

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.
