Hyers-Ulam, Rassias, and Mittag-Leffler stability for quantum difference equations in β-calculus

open access: yesFrontiers in Applied Mathematics and Statistics
This paper investigates first-order nonlinear quantum difference equations governed by a general β-difference operator, encompassing the Jackson q-difference and Hahn difference operators as special cases.

Cytoplasmic p21 promotes stemness of colon cancer cells via activation of the NFκB pathway

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Cytoplasmic p21 promotes colorectal cancer stem cell (CSC) features by destabilizing the NFκB–IκB complex, activating NFκB signaling, and upregulating BCL‐xL and COX2. In contrast to nuclear p21, cytoplasmic p21 enhances spheroid formation and stemness transcription factor CD133.

Stability with respect to initial time difference for generalized delay differential equations

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2015
Stability with initial data difference for nonlinear delay differential equations is introduced. This type of stability generalizes the known concept of stability in the literature.

A novel design of fractional Meyer wavelet neural networks with application to the nonlinear singular fractional Lane-Emden systems

open access: yesAlexandria Engineering Journal, 2021
In this study, a novel stochastic computational frameworks based on fractional Meyer wavelet artificial neural network (FMW-ANN) is designed for nonlinear-singular fractional Lane-Emden (NS-FLE) differential equation.

Relation between the eigenfrequencies of Bogoliubov excitations of Bose-Einstein condensates and the eigenvalues of the Jacobian in a time-dependent variational approach

open access: yes, 2012
We study the relation between the eigenfrequencies of the Bogoliubov excitations of Bose-Einstein condensates, and the eigenvalues of the Jacobian stability matrix in a variational approach which maps the Gross-Pitaevskii equation to a system of ...

Transcriptional network analysis of PTEN‐protein‐deficient prostate tumors reveals robust stromal reprogramming and signs of senescent paracrine communication

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Combining PTEN protein assessment and transcriptomic profiling of prostate tumors, we uncovered a network enriched in senescence and extracellular matrix (ECM) programs associated with PTEN loss and conserved in a mouse model. We show that PTEN‐deficient cells trigger paracrine remodeling of the surrounding stroma and this information could help ...

LINC01116, a hypoxia‐lncRNA marker of pathological lymphangiogenesis and poor prognosis in lung adenocarcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The LINC01116 long noncoding RNA is induced by hypoxia and associated with poor prognosis and high recurrence rates in two cohorts of lung adenocarcinoma patients. Here, we demonstrate that besides its expression in cancer cells, LINC01116 is markedly expressed in lymphatic endothelial cells of the tumor stroma in which it participates in hypoxia ...

LDAcoop: Integrating non‐linear population dynamics into the analysis of clonogenic growth in vitro

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Limiting dilution assays (LDAs) quantify clonogenic growth by seeding serial dilutions of cells and scoring wells for colony formation. The fraction of negative wells is plotted against cells seeded and analyzed using the non‐linear modeling of LDAcoop.

Existence and Global Exponential Stability of Pseudo Almost Periodic Solutions for Neutral Type Quaternion-Valued Neural Networks with Delays in the Leakage Term on Time Scales

open access: yesComplexity, 2017
We propose a class of neutral type quaternion-valued neural networks with delays in the leakage term on time scales that can unify the discrete-time and the continuous-time neural networks. In order to avoid the difficulty brought by the noncommutativity
