Stabilized-load crystal oscillator

open access: yes2019 International Conference on Systems, Signals and Image Processing (IWSSIP), 2019
The presence and concentration of some gases can be sensed by quartz crystal resonators covered by a thin layer of gas-absorbing material. The absorbed gas increases the inertial mass of the layer, and as a result the resonating frequency of the crystal is changed. However, a disadvantage of this method lies in the fact that the absorbed mass increases

Low Phase Noise Oscillator at 60 GHz Stabilized by a Substrate Integrated Cavity Resonator in LTCC

open access: yesIEEE Microwave and Wireless Components Letters, 2014
In this letter, we report a low phase noise oscillatorexhibiting state-of-the-art phase noise characteristics at 60 GHz.The oscillator is stabilized by an off-chip substrate integratedwaveguide (SIW) cavity resonator, manufactured in LTCC technology. The ...

On the stabilization of input delayed oscillators

Proceedings of the 41st IEEE Conference on Decision and Control, 2002., 2003
The problem of globally asymptotically stabilizing by bounded feedback an oscillator with an arbitrary delay in the input is solved. A first solution is deduced from a general result on the global stabilization of null controllable linear systems with delay in the input through bounded control laws with a distributed term.

Self-Stabilized Optoelectronic Oscillator Using Frequency-Shifted Feedback and a Delay Line

open access: yesIEEE Photonics Technology Letters, 2016
International audienceWe report a new scheme of photonic microwave oscillator at telecommunication wavelength. It consists of two monolithic distributed feedback (DFB) laser diodes, whose beat-note is stabilized by means of frequency-shifted optical ...

The Bridge Stabilized Oscillator*

Bell System Technical Journal, 1938
A new type of constant frequency oscillator of very high stability is presented. The frequency controlling resonant element is used as one arm of a Wheatstone resistance bridge. Kept in balance automatically by a thermally controlled arm, this bridge provides constancy of output amplitude, purity of wave form, and stabilization against fluctuations in ...
