Asynchronous mid-infrared broadband optical parametric oscillator for dual-comb spectroscopy
Two asynchronous, broadband 3.3-μm pulse trains with a stabilized repetition-rate difference of up to 5-kHz were generated from a single optical parametric oscillator. With additional carrier-envelope-offset stabilization, it could be applied to coherent

Low-cost, in-liquid measuring system using a novel compact oscillation circuit and quartz-crystal microbalances (QCMs) as a versatile biosensor platform [PDF]
Quartz-crystal microbalances (QCMs) are commercially available mass sensors which mainly consist of a quartz resonator that oscillates at a characteristic frequency, which shifts when mass changes due to surface binding of molecules.

Recent progress in the performances of ultrastable quartz resonators and oscillators
Stressed compensated (SC) cut led recently to the best frequency stability ever obtained with a quartz oscillator, 2.5 × 10−14 for the flicker frequency modulation (FFM) floor. This result is confirmed in this paper with a 3.2 × 10−14 ± 1.1 × 10−14.

Influence of inherent parameter of stabilized UHF oscillators on autodyne response formation at a strong reflected signal [PDF]
Results of an autodyne response analysis in UHF oscillators stabilized by the external high-Q cavity in the case of the strong signal when the reflected wave amplitude commen-surable with the own oscillation amplitude.

Stability of a chain of phase oscillators
We study a chain of N+1 phase oscillators with asymmetric but uniform coupling. This type of chain possesses 2(N) ways to synchronize in so-called traveling wave states, i.e., states where the phases of the single oscillators are in relative equilibrium. We show that the number of unstable dimensions of a traveling wave equals the number of oscillators

Carrier-envelope Phase Drift Detection of Picosecond Pulses
A bandwidth-independent, linear and scalable method for carrier-envelope phase drift measurement demonstrated. Our experiments reveal that carrier-envelope phase drift of a picosecond pulse train can be directly obtained from the spectrally resolved ...

Sub-kHz linewidth intracavity VECSEL-pumped OPO [PDF]
We report low noise and narrow linewidth performance of an actively stabilized optical parametric oscillator, intracavity-pumped by a visible AlGaInP-based vertical-external-cavity surface-emitting laser (VECSEL). Under dual-locking conditions, where the
