Stable Poisson Graphs in One Dimension

open access: yes, 2011
Let each point of a homogeneous Poisson process on $\RR$ independently be equipped with a random number of stubs (half-edges) according to a given probability distribution $\mu$ on the positive integers.

Characterizing the salivary RNA landscape to identify potential diagnostic, prognostic, and follow‐up biomarkers for breast cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study explores salivary RNA for breast cancer (BC) diagnosis, prognosis, and follow‐up. High‐throughput RNA sequencing identified distinct salivary RNA signatures, including novel transcripts, that differentiate BC from healthy controls, characterize histological and molecular subtypes, and indicate lymph node involvement.

Stable Matchings for the Room-mates Problem [PDF]

open access: yes
We show that, given two matchings for a room-mates problem of which say the second is stable, and given a non-empty subset of agents S if (a) no agent in S prefers the first matching to the second, and (b) no agent in S and his room-mate in S under the ...

Adenosine‐to‐inosine editing of miR‐200b‐3p is associated with the progression of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
A‐to‐I editing of miRNAs, particularly miR‐200b‐3p, contributes to HGSOC progression by enhancing cancer cell proliferation, migration and 3D growth. The edited form is linked to poorer patient survival and the identification of novel molecular targets.

Integrated genomic and proteomic profiling reveals insights into chemoradiation resistance in cervical cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
A comprehensive genomic and proteomic analysis of cervical cancer revealed STK11 and STX3 as a potential biomarkers of chemoradiation resistance. Our study demonstrated EGFR as a therapeutic target, paving the way for precision strategies to overcome treatment failure and the DNA repair pathway as a critical mechanism of resistance.

D2D data collaboration forwarding mechanism based on contract theory

open access: yesDianxin kexue, 2018
A contract theory-based D2D data forwarding mechanism was proposed for device-to-device (D2D) communications under cellular networks.Firstly, considering the selfishness of users,a model of principal-agent was constructed, which regarded the transmitter ...

e-Fuel: An EV-Friendly Urgent Electrical Charge-Sharing Model with Preference-Based Off-Grid Services

open access: yesWorld Electric Vehicle Journal
Electric-powered vehicles (EVs) allow for an environmentally friendly and economic alternative to fuel-running ones. However, such an alternative is expected to impose further usage hikes and periods of instability on cities’ power systems.

The Cooperative Theory of Two Sided Matching Problems: A Re-examination of Some Results [PDF]

open access: yes
We show that, given two matchings of which say the second is stable, if (a) no firm prefers the first matching to the second, and (b) no firm and the worker it is paired with under the second matching prefer each other to their respective assignments in ...

Stable marriage with general preferences

open access: yes, 2014
We propose a generalization of the classical stable marriage problem. In our model, the preferences on one side of the partition are given in terms of arbitrary binary relations, which need not be transitive nor acyclic.

Emerging role of ARHGAP29 in melanoma cell phenotype switching

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study gives first insights into the role of ARHGAP29 in malignant melanoma. ARHGAP29 was revealed to be connected to tumor cell plasticity, promoting a mesenchymal‐like, invasive phenotype and driving tumor progression. Further, it modulates cell spreading by influencing RhoA/ROCK signaling and affects SMAD2 activity. Rho GTPase‐activating protein
