Mean field games based on the stable-like processes [PDF]
In this paper, we investigate the mean field games with K classes of agents who are weakly coupled via the empirical measure. The underlying dynamics of the representative agents is assumed to be a controlled nonlinear Markov process associated with ...

Fractional transport equations for Levy stable processes
The influence functional method of Feynman and Vernon is used to obtain a quantum master equation for a Brownian system subjected to a Levy stable random force.

Mechanisms of IgE‐mediated food allergy and the role of allergen‐specific B cells
Food allergy arises when allergen‐specific B cells preferentially produce immunoglobulin E (IgE) antibodies against harmless foods. This article explains the mechanisms driving IgE‐mediated reactions, highlights the central role of these B cells, and discusses how natural tolerance (NT) and oral immunotherapy (OIT) can reshape allergic immune responses.

Structural and biochemical characterisations show that the planar cell polarity (PCP) protein Inturned harbours a unique PDZ‐like domain that does not bind canonical PDZ‐binding motifs (PBMs) like that of another PCP protein Vangl2. In contrast, the apical‐basal polarity protein Scribble contains four PDZ domains that bind Vangl2, but one PDZ domain ...

On the harmonic measure of stable processes
Using three hypergeometric identities, we evaluate the harmonic measure of a finite interval and of its complementary for a strictly stable real L{\'e}vy process. This gives a simple and unified proof of several results in the literature, old and recent.

Calpain small subunit homodimerization is robust and calcium‐independent
Calpains dimerize via penta‐EF‐hand (PEF) domains. Using single‐molecule force spectroscopy, we measured the strength and kinetics of PEF–PEF homodimer binding. The interaction is robust, shows a transient conformational step before dissociation, and remains largely insensitive to Ca2+.

The Influence of Competing Hydroclimate Processes on Stable Isotope Ratios in Tropical Rainfall
In tropical paleoclimate studies, paleo‐precipitation is often reconstructed from proxies via the “amount effect,” that is, the empirical inverse relationship between local precipitation amount (P) and the oxygen isotopic composition of precipitation ...

Jacobi radial stable processes [PDF]
This paper contains an interesting collection of results on stable processes on the Sturm-Liouville hypergroups associated with Jacobi functions. The results therefore also cover the case of radial stable processes on the noncompact symmetric spaces of rank one.

Structural insights into an engineered feruloyl esterase with improved MHET degrading properties
A feruloyl esterase was engineered to mimic key features of MHETase, enhancing the degradation of PET oligomers. Structural and computational analysis reveal how a point mutation stabilizes the active site and reshapes the binding cleft, expading substrate scope.
