Exploratory Work on the Spinning Condition of the Structure of Staple-core Twin-spun Yarns [PDF]
In order to design and develop novel-spun yarns with good functionality, we investigated how to construct a core-sheath structure adapted from a multilayered structure of triplet-spun yarn and/or made from a twin-spun yarn with core-staple fibers using ...

EFFECT OF AGE AND BODY REGION ON SOME PHYSICAL AND CHEMICAL TRAITS OF AWASSI EWES WOOL [PDF]
Fleece traits have an economic importance in sheep, and they are influenced by fiber traits. The age of sheep and body region which samples are taken have an importance on the traits studied. The study involved 24 Awassi ewes aged 3 to 6 years at college

Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.

THE ROLE OF HAIR COAT IN RESISTANCE TO WATER SALINITY AND HEAT STRESS IN GOATS [PDF]
This experiment was carried out at Maryout Research Station of the Desert Research Center, located 35km south west of Alexandria, to study the role of some hair coat characteristics of Baladi goats under stress of solar radiation and water salinity on

Dimethyl fumarate (DMF) reduces growth of HPV‐positive cervical cancer spheroids and induces ferroptosis in cervical cancer cells via blocking SLC7A11/Glutathione (GSH) axis. Combination of subcytotoxic doses of DMF and cisplatin (CDDP) further suppresses spheroid growth and drives cell death in 2D culture models.

COMP–PMEPA1 axis promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition in breast cancer cells
This study reveals that cartilage oligomeric matrix protein (COMP) promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition (EMT) in breast cancer. We identify PMEPA1 (protein TMEPAI) as a novel COMP‐binding partner that mediates EMT via binding to the TSP domains of COMP, establishing the COMP–PMEPA1 axis as a key EMT driver in breast cancer.
