Catalog of 13CO clumps from FUGIN in the Milky Way at l = 10°–50°
Context. Since stars and star clusters emerge from the gravitational collapse of clumps and cores, studying molecular clumps is fundamental to understanding the processes of star formation. The FOREST Unbiased Galactic Plane Imaging (FUGIN) survey offers

Catalog of Integrated-light Star Cluster Light Curves in TESS
We present the first integrated-light, TESS-based light curves for star clusters in the Milky Way, Small Magellanic Cloud, and Large Magellanic Cloud. We explore the information encoded in these light curves, with particular emphasis on variability.

Loss of the miR‐214/199a cluster is associated with recurrence in ovarian cancer. Engineered small extracellular vesicles (m214‐sEVs) elevate miR‐214‐3p/miR‐199a‐5p in tumor cells, suppress β‐catenin, TLR4, and YKT6 signaling, reprogram tumor‐derived sEV cargo, reduce chemoresistance and migration, and enhance carboplatin efficacy and survival in ...

Investigation into Triggered Star Formation by Radiative Driven Implosion [PDF]
When massive stars form, they emit strong, hydrogen ionising radiation fields into their molecular cloud environment, forming HII regions. This is believed to be capable of inducing effects which can trigger further star formation through a process known

Somatic mutational landscape in von Hippel–Lindau familial hemangioblastoma
The causes of central nervous system (CNS) hemangioblastoma in Von Hippel–Lindau (vHL) disease are unclear. We used Whole Exome Sequencing (WES) on familial hemangioblastoma to investigate events that underlie tumor development. Our findings suggest that VHL loss creates a permissive environment for tumor formation, while additional alterations ...

An analysis of the Basel star catalog
The standard Bahcall-Soneira (1980) Galaxy model is compared with the data from the 12 fields in the Basel star catalog that are at Galactic latitudes above 20 deg and have E(B-V) of less than 0.1 mag. Good agreement is found between the calculated and observed color distributions, as well as star counts, for all the fields.

Search for Wide Double Stars in the Guide Star Catalog I. All Sky Properties of the Catalog [PDF]
AbstractThe immediate object of this effort is the first systematic investigation of the guide star catalog as a new source list for the discovery of possible new visual binary stars. In this first paper of the series we detail on the way used to establish the properties of the catalog, i.e.

Catalog of X-Ray Detected Be Stars (XDBS)
Abstract We present a catalog of X-ray Detected Be Stars (XDBS) with 161 Be stars from the Be Star Spectra (BeSS) database having X-ray counterparts in the Chandra Source Catalog v2.0, XMM-Newton 4XMM-DR11 Catalog, or Swift 2SXPS Catalog.

Properties and Occurrence Rates for Kepler Exoplanet Candidates as a Function of Host Star Metallicity from the DR25 Catalog [PDF]
Correlations between the occurrence rate of exoplanets and their host star properties provide important clues about the planet formation processes. We studied the dependence of the observed properties of exoplanets (radius, mass, and orbital period) as a
