The research on image processing technology of the star tracker

Proceedings of SPIE, 2014
As the core of visual sensitivity via imaging, image processing technology, especially for star tracker, is mainly characterized by such items as image exposure, optimal storage, background estimation, feature correction, target extraction, iteration compensation. This paper firstly summarizes the new research on those items at home and abroad, then,

Quality Detection and Characterization of Star Label Printing Based on Image Processing

2019 6th International Conference on Information Science and Control Engineering (ICISCE), 2019
This paper is aimed at the quality of star prints used in the quality evaluation of printing and printout industries. Using digital imaging and image processing techniques, we have established quantitative indicators for the quality of star label printing, including star dark line angle width, the shape and size of the fuzzy area, as well as the fill ...

Long-integration star tracker image processing for combined attitude-attitude rate estimation

Proceedings of SPIE, 2013
A method is proposed for extracting attitude data from streaked star images using traditional image processing methods. The process enables collection of both attitude and angular velocity estimates from streaking star images, where traditional star identification methods would produce poor results.

Star image processing of SINS/CNS integrated navigation system based on 1DWF under high dynamic conditions

2016 IEEE/ION Position, Location and Navigation Symposium (PLANS), 2016
Star sensor could work independently ignoring the outside interference, but the disadvantages of star sensor are low output frequency and the limitation in cloudy or rainy day. SINS/CNS integrated navigation system exactly makes up for the deficiencies. However, the practical environment of the surface ship with SINS/CNS integrated navigation system is
