Disentangling Heterogeneous Molecular Networks for Multi‐Omics‐Driven Cancer Driver Discovery

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
DRIVE integrates PPI topology and pan‐cancer multi‐omics profiles through dual‐view graph disentanglement, contrastive representation learning, and joint optimization. Across six PPI networks, DRIVE outperforms ten baselines and remains robust to structural and annotation perturbations.

T‐Cell Remodeling in Renal Fibrosis: From Acute Injury to Chronic Kidney Disease

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This Review presents renal fibrosis as a sequence of overlapping T‐cell programs, from chemokine‐guided recruitment and metabolic activation to maladaptive polarization, tertiary lymphoid structure formation, tissue residency, exhaustion, and senescence.

Combination of proviral and antiviral roles of B cell-intrinsic STAT1 expression defines parameters of chronic gammaherpesvirus infection

open access: yesmBio
Gammaherpesviruses are species-specific, ubiquitous pathogens that establish lifelong infection in their hosts and are associated with cancers, including B cell lymphomas. Type I and II interferons (IFNs) are critical for the control of acute and chronic

Sarbecoviruses Suppress Innate Immunity by Recruiting PPM1A to Modulate STAT2 and ORF9b Phosphorylation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Sarbecovirus ORF9b recruits host phosphatase PPM1A to suppress innate immunity through dual mechanisms. PPM1A directly dephosphorylates ORF9b to sustain its activity and indirectly downregulates STAT2 phosphorylation to impair interferon signaling. Pharmacological inhibition of PPM1A restores antiviral responses and limits sarbecovirus replication ...

CD112 Lactylation Drives Dual Immune Evasion From CD8+ T Cells and NK Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
AARS2 functions as an intracellular lactate sensor and lactyltransferase, catalyzing CD112 K412 lactylation to block ubiquitination‐dependent degradation and stabilize CD112. This pathway suppresses CD8+ T‐cell and NK‐cell cytotoxicity, enabling dual immune evasion.

A Postbiotic‐Inducing Ganoderma applanatum Polysaccharide Repairs the Intestinal Barrier via a Phocaeicola vulgatus ‐ Tridecylic Acid Axis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study identifies GAP2, a bioactive polysaccharide fraction derived from Ganoderma applanatum, as a postbiotic inducer that repairs intestinal barrier damage in a gut microbiota‐dependent manner. GAP2 enriches Phocaeicola vulgatus, which degrades GAP2 and promotes tridecylic acid production, triggering Rho/CDC42 signaling and tight‐junction ...

CYP8B1 inhibits hepatocellular carcinoma progression by repressing PAK4 transcription through inhibition of nuclear translocation of u-STAT1

open access: yesCell Death and Disease
Primary and secondary bile acid (BA) levels are elevated in patients with hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). BAs are important signaling molecules that regulate CYP8B1 expression by targeting nuclear and membrane receptors.

Aged ZnO Nanoparticles Promote Breast Cancer Lung Metastasis by Remodeling the Pulmonary Microenvironment Through the CXCL10/Wnt/β‐Catenin Axis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
In summary, pulmonary exposure to ZnO NPs, particularly aged NPs, promotes breast cancer metastasis by remodelling the lung tumour microenvironment. Aged ZnO NPs enrich M2‐macrophages, MDSCs and activated CAFs to form an immunosuppressive metastatic niche. CXCL10 from these cells drives metastasis via Wnt/β‐catenin activation.
