Transient Stability Analysis of Wind‐Thermal Bundled Systems Under Sequential Filter Removal
This paper proposes a coordinated control strategy for wind and thermal unit scheduling under filter ordered removal based on the principle that retaining part of the filter can enhance system stability. By establishing a grid architecture model, introducing static stability constraints, transient stability constraints, and filter capacity constraints,

Series and Shunt Reactive compensation can be used to improve voltage stability. The L‐index and Fast Voltage Stability Index are used to evaluate stability. Cost of reactive compensation is included directly in the optimization process. Multi‐objective optimization determines the optimal sizing of FACTS devices.

HVDC Transmission with STATCOM
Most of the HVDC power converters with thyristor valves are assembled in a converter Bridge of Six pulse configuration. Converter transformers with one DC side winding as an ungrounded star connection and the other a delta configuration. Comparative studies of the two systems of HVDC CIGRE model without STATCOM and with STATCOM were performed. In these

Enhancement of Passive Sliding Mode Control Model for LVRT Capability in DFIG Based Wind Turbines
ABSTRACT Doubly fed induction generator (DFIG) is vulnerable to transient stability situations occurring on the grid side. First of all, with the models to be developed in the wind turbines, LVRT capability must be provided depending on the grid code requirement for various problems that may occur, such as overcurrent, voltage, and uncertainty in ...
