Empirical Sample Complexity of Neural Network Mixed State Reconstruction [PDF]

open access: yesQuantum
Quantum state reconstruction using Neural Quantum States has been proposed as a viable tool to reduce quantum shot complexity in practical applications, and its advantage over competing techniques has been shown in numerical experiments focusing mainly ...

Kleene closure and state complexity [PDF]

open access: yesRAIRO - Theoretical Informatics and Applications, 2016
Summary: We prove that the automaton presented by \textit{A. N. Maslov} [Sov. Math., Dokl. 11, 1373--1375 (1970; Zbl 0222.94064); translation from Dokl. Akad. Nauk SSSR 194, 1266--1268 (1970)] meets the upper bound \(3/4\cdot 2^{n}\) on the state complexity of Kleene closure.

The (Glg)ABCs of cyanobacteria: modelling of glycogen synthesis and functional divergence of glycogen synthases in Synechocystis sp. PCC 6803

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

Circuit complexity for free fermion with a mass quench

open access: yesNuclear Physics B, 2020
By using a recent approach proposed by Hackl et al. to evaluate the complexity of the free fermionic Gaussian state, we compute the complexity of the Dirac vacuum state of the Fermi system with a mass quench.

Organ‐specific redox imbalances in spinal muscular atrophy mice are partially rescued by SMN antisense oligonucleotides

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We identified a systemic, progressive loss of protein S‐glutathionylation—detected by nonreducing western blotting—alongside dysregulation of glutathione‐cycle enzymes in both neuronal and peripheral tissues of Taiwanese SMA mice. These alterations were partially rescued by SMN antisense oligonucleotide therapy, revealing persistent redox imbalance as ...

Modeling Complexity of Enterprise Routing Design

open access: yes, 2012
Enterprise networks often have complex routing designs given the need to meet a wide set of resiliency, security and routing policies. In this paper, we take the position that minimizing design complexity must be an explicit objective of routing design ...

Transferrin receptor 1‐mediated iron uptake supports thermogenic activation in human cervical‐derived adipocytes

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.

Complexity in Plasma - A Grand View of Self- Organization

open access: yes, 1994
"The central theme of the Complexity is the inquest of the creation of ordered structure in nature. Extensive computer simulations on plasmas have revealed that self-organization is governed by the three key processes, i.e.

A framework for complexity cost modelling of ERP implementation [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
The aim of this research is to develop a framework to predict the cost of the resource complexities inherent in an ERP implementation. The framework comprises two phases namely complexity assessment, and dynamic cost estimation for resource complexity
