Lithium-ion batteries, as the main energy storage component of electric vehicles (EVs), play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and reliable operation of the battery systems through monitoring their state of health (SOH). However, temperature variations

Structural biology of ferritin nanocages
Ferritin is a conserved iron‐storage protein that sequesters iron as a ferric mineral core within a nanocage, protecting cells from oxidative damage and maintaining iron homeostasis. This review discusses ferritin biology, structure, and function, and highlights recent cryo‐EM studies revealing mechanisms of ferritinophagy, cellular iron uptake, and ...

CDK11 inhibition stabilises the tumour suppressor p53 and triggers the production of an alternative p21WAF1 splice variant p21L, through the inactivation of the spliceosomal protein SF3B1. Unlike the canonical p21WAF1 protein, p21L is localised in the cytoplasm and has reduced cell cycle‐blocking activity.

Entropy profile of NCR 18650 cylindrical cell at various states of health
Entropy measurement at various states of charge (SOC) is a potential non-destructive tool for characterizing lithium-ion batteries; however, traditional potentiometric methods are time-consuming. To address this, we developed a fast potentiometric method

Generation of Superposition States and Charge-Qubit Relaxation Probing in a Circuit
We demonstrate how a superposition of coherent states can be generated for a microwave field inside a coplanar transmission line coupled to a single superconducting charge qubit, with the addition of a single classical magnetic pulse for chirping of the ...

Dual targeting of RET and SRC synergizes in RET fusion‐positive cancer cells
Despite the strong activity of selective RET tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs), resistance of RET fusion‐positive (RET+) lung cancer and thyroid cancer frequently occurs and is mainly driven by RET‐independent bypass mechanisms. Son et al. show that SRC TKIs significantly inhibit PAK and AKT survival signaling and enhance the efficacy of RET TKIs in ...

EFFECTS OF DIFFERENT N:K RATIOS AND NPK LEVELS ON SWEET POTATO
Generally, plants that received NPK fertilizer had better stand than those that did not receive either N or K. However, nitrogen had greater influence than potassium on the vegetative growth of the plant, Root formation and yield were significantly ...

The inconsistency in state-of-charge (SOC) for electric vehicle batteries will cause component damage and lifespan reduction of batteries. Meanwhile, the consistency in the state-of-health (SOH) also negatively influences the consensus of SOC.
