Dynamic Graph Learning with Static Relations for Credit Risk Assessment

open access: yes
Credit risk assessment has increasingly become a prominent research field due to the dramatically increased incidents of financial default. Traditional graph-based methods have been developed to detect defaulters within user-merchant commercial payment ...

Static voltage collapse assessment (SVCA) for bulk power system network / Sunarny Othman [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
This thesis presents the static voltage collapse assessment for bulk power system network. The study involves computation of line stability factor termed as LQP to indicate the voltage stability in a Power System.

Interpreting the effects of DNA polymerase variants at the structural level

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Using MAVISp and molecular dynamics simulations, we analyzed over 60 000 missense variants in POLE and POLD1 from ClinVar, COSMIC, cBioPortal, and saturation mutagenesis. Identified mechanistic indicators, including stability, binding, and long‐range, enable structural interpretation, providing ACMG‐like evidence for possible reclassification of VUS ...

DNA methylation and expression of MAPRE3 affect overall survival of early‐stage non‐small cell lung cancer patients

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Both cg12821679MAPRE3 methylation and MAPRE3 expression are significantly associated with overall survival (OS) of non‐small cell lung cancer. Meanwhile, MAPRE3 expression significantly modified the effect of smoking cessation on OS. Smoking cessation benefits OS merely for patients with high MAPRE3 expression.

A method of risk assessment for static ignitions

open access: yesJournal of Physics: Conference Series
Abstract This paper presents a method of risk assessment for static ignitions that can be widely used overseas. It describes how the developed risk assessment method identifies static ignition hazards and analyses static ignition risks.

Flow Enabled Target Capture Halbach‐based magnetic enrichment increases circulating tumor cell capture from blood in metastatic cancer patients

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pair‐wise comparison of the CellSearch and FETCH enrichment technologies for circulating tumor cells (CTCs) from metastatic breast, prostate, and small cell lung cancer patients shows an increased capture of CTCs using FETCH enrichment. The clinical implementation of circulating tumor cells (CTCs) as a predictive tool for therapy efficacy in the ...

The measurement of near wall flows using pneumatic wedge probes. [PDF]

open access: yes, 1995
The three hole, wedge-type pneumatic pressure probe represents a robust traverse probe design which is widely used for total and static pressure and yaw angle measurements in turbomachinery.

A Proposed Artificial Intelligence Algorithm for Assessing of Risk Priority for Medical Equipment in Iraqi Hospital

open access: yesAl-Khawarizmi Engineering Journal, 2009
This paper presents a robust algorithm for the assessment of risk priority for medical equipment based on the calculation of static and dynamic risk factors and Kohnen Self Organization Maps (SOM).

USP29‐regulated noncanonical stabilization of the hypoxia‐inducible factor‐α in aggressive prostate cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We identify USP29 as the only DUB mirroring CA9 expression, a marker of hypoxia and HIF pathway activation associated with PCA aggressiveness. USP29 stabilizes HIF‐1α and HIF‐2α via a noncanonical mechanism that is independent of PHD/pVHL activity yet relies on proteasomal regulation, establishing USP29 as a previously unrecognized regulator of hypoxic

The test-retest reliability of centre of pressure measures in bipedal static task conditions - A systematic review of the literature

open access: yes, 2009
Summary of background data: The analysis of centre of pressure (COP) excursions is used as an index of postural stability in standing. Conflicting data have been reported over the past 20 years regarding the reliability of COP measures and no standard ...
