Evaluation of Time Series Models in Simulating Different Monthly Scales of Drought Index for Improving Their Forecast Accuracy

open access: yesFrontiers in Earth Science, 2022
Drought is regarded as one of the most intangible and creeping natural disasters, which occurs in almost all climates, and its characteristics vary from region to region.

COMP–PMEPA1 axis promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition in breast cancer cells

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study reveals that cartilage oligomeric matrix protein (COMP) promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition (EMT) in breast cancer. We identify PMEPA1 (protein TMEPAI) as a novel COMP‐binding partner that mediates EMT via binding to the TSP domains of COMP, establishing the COMP–PMEPA1 axis as a key EMT driver in breast cancer.

Pre‐analytical optimization of cell‐free DNA and extracellular vesicle‐derived DNA for mutation detection in liquid biopsies

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pre‐analytical handling critically determines liquid biopsy performance. This study defines practical best‐practice conditions for cell‐free DNA (cfDNA) and extracellular vesicle–derived DNA (evDNA), showing how processing time, storage conditions, tube type, and plasma input volume affect DNA integrity and mutation detection.

Engineered extracellular vesicles enriched with the miR‐214/199a cluster enhance the efficacy of chemotherapy in ovarian cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Loss of the miR‐214/199a cluster is associated with recurrence in ovarian cancer. Engineered small extracellular vesicles (m214‐sEVs) elevate miR‐214‐3p/miR‐199a‐5p in tumor cells, suppress β‐catenin, TLR4, and YKT6 signaling, reprogram tumor‐derived sEV cargo, reduce chemoresistance and migration, and enhance carboplatin efficacy and survival in ...

Establishment of a humanized patient‐derived xenograft mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer for preclinical evaluation of combination immunotherapy

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We have established a humanized orthotopic patient‐derived xenograft (Hu‐oPDX) mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC) that recapitulates human tumor–immune interactions. Using combined anti‐PD‐L1/anti‐CD73 immunotherapy, we demonstrate the model's improved biological relevance and enhanced translational value for preclinical ...

Ensuring of the industrial robot link motion accuracy parameters in the low-speed zone

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Research, 2019
Introduction. The article is devoted to the search for a method of reducing the effect of friction links mobility industrial robot PR (production mechanism PM) with frequency-controlled electric drive (FCED) on the static error (accuracy) positioning of ...

CCDC80 suppresses high‐grade serous ovarian cancer migration via negative regulation of B7‐H3

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
PAX8 is a lineage‐specific master regulator of transcription in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSC) progression. We show for the first time that PAX8 facilitates proliferation and metastasis by repressing the cell autonomous tumor suppressor CCDC80 and inducing B7‐H3 expression.

Model and phase-diagram analysis of photothermal instabilities in an optomechanical resonator

open access: yesNew Journal of Physics, 2017
A study of the phototermal instabilities in a Fabry–Perot cavity is reported, where one mirror consists of a silicon-nitride membrane coated by the molecular organic semiconductor tris(8-hydroxyquinoline) aluminum and silver layers.

Dynamics of Population Patch Distribution

open access: yesМоделирование и анализ информационных систем, 2018
The problem of selection by the patch population in the absence of information on the utility of the patch, that is, the volume of its energy resources, is considered. This problem relates to the theory of optimal foraging. U.
