Optimization of the thyristor valves design for TCR static VAR compensators [PDF]

open access: yes, 1991
Describes a program developed to optimize the design of thyristor valves for Static VAR Compensators (SVC) of the Thysristor Controlled Reactors (TCR ...

Nonlinear finite element analysis of reinforced concrete beams strengthened with textile fine grained mortar [PDF]

open access: yes, 2020
Nowadays, there was an increasing need of repairing and upgrading the reinforced concrete (RC) structure due to the deterioration of the structure. The fibre reinforced polymer (FRP) was commonly used for structural retrofitting purposes.

A Practical Fast Acting Control Scheme For Fuzzy Logic-Based Voltage Stabilization Control [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
This paper presents a simplified control model for stabilizing a load voltage using a switched reactor in parallel with a fixed capacitor of static VAR compensator. Two IGBT’s are used to control the reactance of the switched reactor.

CDK11 inhibition induces cytoplasmic p21WAF1 splice variant by p53 stabilisation and SF3B1 inactivation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
CDK11 inhibition stabilises the tumour suppressor p53 and triggers the production of an alternative p21WAF1 splice variant p21L, through the inactivation of the spliceosomal protein SF3B1. Unlike the canonical p21WAF1 protein, p21L is localised in the cytoplasm and has reduced cell cycle‐blocking activity.

Analysis and design of a DC voltage-controlled static VAr compensator using quad-series voltage-source inverters [PDF]

open access: yes, 1996
This paper presents a DC voltage-controlled static VAr compensator (SVC) using quad-series voltage-source non-PWM inverters. The SVC consists of four three-phase voltage-source inverters having a common DC capacitor and four three-phase transformers, the

Dual targeting of RET and SRC synergizes in RET fusion‐positive cancer cells

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Despite the strong activity of selective RET tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs), resistance of RET fusion‐positive (RET+) lung cancer and thyroid cancer frequently occurs and is mainly driven by RET‐independent bypass mechanisms. Son et al. show that SRC TKIs significantly inhibit PAK and AKT survival signaling and enhance the efficacy of RET TKIs in ...

Analysis of electricity quality parameters within installing reactive power compensators [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
Збільшення кількості електронних пристроїв, під’єднаних до електромереж змінного струму, збільшує частку перехідних процесів в мережі та обумовлює динамічний характер, спожитої від мережі енергії.

Perspectives in educating molecular pathologists on liquid biopsy: Toward integrative, equitable, and decentralized precision oncology

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Liquid biopsy enables minimally invasive, real‐time molecular profiling through analysis of circulating biomarkers in biological fluids. This Perspective highlights the importance of training pathologists through integrative educational programs, such as the European Masters in Molecular Pathology, to ensure effective and equitable implementation of ...

Unstationnary control of a launcher using observer-based structures [PDF]

open access: yes, 2003
This paper deals with the design of a gain-scheduled controller for the attitude control of a launcher during atmospheric flight. The design is characterized by classical requirements such as phase/gain margins and flexible mode attenuations as well as

Exploiting metabolic adaptations to overcome dabrafenib treatment resistance in melanoma cells

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We show that dabrafenib‐resistant melanoma cells undergo mitochondrial remodeling, leading to elevated respiration and ROS production balanced by stronger antioxidant defenses. This altered redox state promotes survival despite mitochondrial damage but renders resistant cells highly vulnerable to ROS‐inducing compounds such as PEITC, highlighting redox
