The article deals with an equation obtained for determining an active resistance of the stator phase. The equation consists of the ratio of the mean values of the current and voltage integral functions in the steady-state operating mode. We substantiated the possibility of using this method for parametric asymmetry of an induction motor caused by a ...

Comparison of partitioned stator machines with different PM excitation stator topologies
2015 Tenth International Conference on Ecological Vehicles and Renewable Energies (EVER), 2015The partitioned stator (PS) machine adopts two stators to allocate coils and permanent magnets (PMs) separately, which can increase the space for PMs and coils to boost the electromagnetic torque and to improve the thermal condition of PMs which are on the stator. In this paper, the PS switched flux PM machine and PS flux reversal PM machine are proved

Rubbing Phenomena in Rotor-Stator Contact
Nonlinear Dynamics and Stochastic Mechanics, 2000Abstract This paper discusses the vibration phenomena of a rotor rubbing with a stator caused by an initial perturbation. The analytical model consists of a simple disc-shaft rotor and a fixed stator. The perturbation is an instantaneous change of the radial velocity when the rotor is rotating in its normal steady state. It is found that

The chapter deals with stator winding faults. Assessments of different types of stator winding fault are discussed in this chapter. Both steady-state and transient current-based diagnosis are covered. Sequence component-based stator fault diagnosis is presented. Park plane is sometime used for fault diagnosis.
