Simulation of flow field in steam ejector and analysis of shock wave characteristics

Fluent software is used to simulate the two-dimensional flow field in the steam ejector. The generation, development and end of shock in the flow field are analyzed. The influence of the shock wave characteristics on the ejector performance is discussed.

Integrated Flue‐Gas Heat Recovery for Optimized Steam and Power Generation Using Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC): A Technical and Economic Assessment

Integration of a steam cycle with an existing gas turbine increased efficiency from 32% to 51%, reducing fuel consumption by 21.4% and CO2 emissions by 18.6%. The modification generated USD 13.9 million annual savings and lowered the Levelized Cost of Energy to 38.7 USD/MWh, with a 3‐year payback.
