Quantitative Mapping of Fibrotic Tissue Mechanics via Brillouin Spectroscopy

open access: yesJournal of Biophotonics, EarlyView.
Brillouin spectroscopy distinguishes fibrotic from healthy tissue based on localized stiffness changes and enables real‐time monitoring of dynamic alterations in viscoelastic properties during fibrogenesis. ABSTRACT Fibrosis is a pathological scarring process that disrupts tissue architecture, and is characterized by excessive extracellular matrix (ECM)

Temperature‐Dependent Investigation of the S‐Branch Raman Linewidth in CO2 via Time‐Resolved Rotational CARS

open access: yesJournal of Raman Spectroscopy, EarlyView.
We studied the temporal evolution of the rotational coherent anti‐Stokes Raman scattering (RCARS) signal of CO2 to determine the S‐branch Raman linewidth, which is an essential parameter for accurate spectral modeling in RCARS gas‐phase diagnostics. We found a non‐monotonic J‐dependence of the S‐branch Raman linewidth not accounted for in previously ...

Efficient Robust Spontaneous Parametric Down‐Conversion via Detuning Modulated Composite Segments Designs

open access: yesLaser &Photonics Reviews, EarlyView.
Detuning modulated composite segmentation (DMCS) enables robust spontaneous parametric down‐conversion with sevenfold improved temperature stability compared to conventional designs, opening new possibilities for stable quantum photon sources. ABSTRACT Spontaneous parametric down conversion (SPDC) holds a pivotal role in quantum physics, facilitating ...

Quad‐SPIM: A High‐Speed, Multi‐Color Light‐Sheet Microscope for 3D Imaging of Large Cleared Human Brain Tissues

open access: yesLaser &Photonics Reviews, EarlyView.
A high‐speed, multi‐color light‐sheet microscope, named quad‐SPIM, enables rapid three dimensional (3D) imaging of large cleared human brain samples with simultaneous four‐channel acquisition. This custom‐built system achieves subcellular resolution across centimeter‐scale volumes, maintaining high image quality.
