Quasi-periodic pulsations in solar and stellar flares. Review
This paper provides an overview of the state-of-the-art studies of oscillatory processes in solar and stellar flares, based on modern observational data from ground-based and space-borne instruments with high temporal, spatial, and spectral resolution in

Owing to the margination effect, rod‐shaped nanoparticles exhibit markedly enhanced co‐localization with endothelial‐adherent platelets (PLTs) under dynamic blood flow. When internalized by PLTs, rod‐shaped PNR@Res inhibit FAK and PI3K/AKT signaling in a morphology‐dependent manner, thereby disrupting their pathological crosstalk with various ...

Flare Heating in Stellar Coronae
We investigate the contribution of very weak flares to the coronal luminosity of low-mass active stars. We analyze EUVE/DS events data from FK Aqr, V1054 Oph, and AD Leo and conclude that in all these cases the coronal emission is dominated by flares to such an extent that in some cases the entire emission may be ascribed to flare heating.

A loss‐based ensemble generative adversarial network (GAN) framework is proposed to address mode collapse in sperm morphology classification. By integrating spatial augmentation and multiple GAN models, the study enhances synthetic data quality. The Shifted Window Transformer achieves 95.37% accuracy on the HuSHeM dataset, outperforming previous ...

EFTE-SOAR: Two Giant M Dwarf Flares with Rapid Spectroscopic Follow-up
We present time-series optical spectroscopy of two stellar flares with complex multi-peaked light curves: a $2.{1}_{-.3}^{+.4}\times 1{0}^{34}$ erg flare from an M8 ultra-cool dwarf, and a $1.{5}_{-.2}^{+.2}\times 1{0}^{35}$ erg superflare from an M4 ...

Abstract Mobile technologies have become significant resources for crisis communication and social support in recent years. However, despite empirical evidence pointing to the centrality of these technologies for parenthood in everyday life, it is yet unknown how parents' coping resources play a role in the digital environment.

Light Echoes of Time-resolved Flares and Application to Kepler Data
Light echoes of stellar flares provide an intriguing option for exploring protoplanetary disks in young stellar systems. Previous work on light echoes of circumstellar disks made use of delta-function flares for modeling.

The increasing prevalence of dementia and related neurodegenerative diseases—including Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis—poses a growing public health challenge. These conditions have traditionally been studied as isolated central nervous system disorders, but emerging evidence points to ...

Effects of Ultraviolet Radiation on Sub-Neptune Exoplanet Hazes through Laboratory Experiments
Temperate sub-Neptune exoplanets could contain large inventories of water in various phases, such as water worlds with water-rich atmospheres or even oceans.
