Symptoms of main Callistephus chinensis L. Nees. diseases under Ukrainian urban ecosystem conditions of the forest-steppe zone

open access: yesHortus Botanicus, 2017
Phytopathological monitoring of C. chinensis (L.) Nees. has proven withering and root rot to be the dominating diseases in agrobiocenoses under Ukrainian urban ecosystem conditions of the forest-steppe zone.

Effect of adjuvants on the efficiency of dimethomorph plus mancozeb (Acrobat 2 kg:ha) on the control of late blight [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
Industrial adjuvants were tested in combination with dimethomorph plus mancozeb (Acrobat 2 kg/ha) in the field to investigate their efficacy on foliar late blight caused by Phytophthora infestans.

Electronic Interaction at Cu–O–Ni Heterointerface Promotes Electrocatalytic Nitrate Reduction to Ammonia and Zinc‐Nitrate Battery

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The strong Cu–O–Ni electronic interaction in the heterostructured catalyst can enhance the effective adsorption of NO3− and accelerate the in situ hydrolysis dissociation of the hydrogenation step. The Zn‐NO3 hybrid battery assembled with this catalyst achieves an open‐circuit voltage of 1.45 V, a peak power density of 6.47 mW cm−2, and can ...

Trace Alloying Unleashed: AuPt Nanoalloys Strategy Preserves Plasmonic Properties on Au Nanobipyramids While Boosting Electron Transfer for Visible Light Ammonia Synthesis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Au nanobipyramids (Au NBPs) with distinct Pt configurations—dense Pt layers (Au NBPs@Ptd), sparse Pt clusters (Au NBPs@Pts), and trace AuPt alloy (Au NBPs@Au/Ptalloy) were engineered. Au NBPs@Au/Ptalloy exhibited optimal performance in the photoelectrocatalytic nitrite‐to‐ammonia conversion.

Fusarium in wheat. Effects of soil fertility strategies and nitrogen levels on mycotoxins and seedling blight. [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
In a two-year field experiment in the Netherlands the relation between three soil fertility strategies, additional nitrogen levels and Fusarium Head Blight in wheat are explored. There was a substantial year-effect, as could be expected.

Orbital Hybridization‐Mediated Decoupling of Electrocatalytic Functions for Paired CO2 Electrosynthesis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study constructs a dual‐scale Ag‐based catalyst on CeO2 nanorods via a facet‐guided strategy. This catalyst can induce a cascaded orbital hybridization effect, which synergistically optimizes oxygen vacancy stability, CO desorption kinetics, and charge transfer efficiency.
