Atomic resolution mapping of phonon excitations in STEM-EELS experiments
Atomically resolved electron energy-loss spectroscopy experiments are commonplace in modern aberrationcorrected transmission electron microscopes.

Pharmacologic ascorbate (vitamin C) increases ROS, disrupts cellular metabolism, and induces DNA damage in CRPC cells. These effects sensitize tumors to PARP inhibition, producing synergistic growth suppression with olaparib in vitro and significantly delayed tumor progression in vivo. Pyruvate rescue confirms ROS‐dependent activity.

LDAcoop: Integrating non‐linear population dynamics into the analysis of clonogenic growth in vitro
Limiting dilution assays (LDAs) quantify clonogenic growth by seeding serial dilutions of cells and scoring wells for colony formation. The fraction of negative wells is plotted against cells seeded and analyzed using the non‐linear modeling of LDAcoop.

Equity in practice: Assigning competence to shape STEM student participation
Improving equity in undergraduate STEM is a national imperative. Although there is a rapidly growing body of research in this area, there is still a need to generate empirical evidence for equitable teaching techniques. We ground our work in Complex Instruction, an extensively researched pedagogical approach based on sociological theories and the ...

Growth allocation and stand structure in Norway spruce stands [PDF]
This thesis is based on analyses of permanent sample plot data gathered over periods of 10-34 years from an experiment in which a wide range of thinning regimes, and thinnings combined with N-fertilisation, were applied to 25 even-aged Norway spruce ...

Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.

A Comparative Anatomical Study on Two Endemic Sempervivum taxa (Crassulaceae) in Türkiye
This paper comparatively examines the anatomical features of Sempervivum brevipilum and Sempervivum gillianiae using cross-sections from roots, stems, rosette leaves, sepals, and petals, alongside surface sections from rosette leaves, sepals, and petals.

In this work, we study the spin dynamics of Mn12-acetate molecules in the regime of thermally assisted tunneling. In particular, we describe the system in the presence of a strong transverse magnetic field.

The PI3Kδ inhibitor roginolisib (IOA‐244) preserves T‐cell function and activity
Identification of novel PI3K inhibitors with limited immune‐related adverse effects is highly sought after. We found that roginolisib and idelalisib inhibit chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) cells and Treg suppressive functions to similar extents, but roginolisib affects cytotoxic T‐cell function and promotion of pro‐inflammatory T helper subsets to a

Revealing gender-specific costs of STEM in an extended Roy model of major choice
We derive sharp bounds on the non consumption utility component in an extended Roy model of sector selection. We interpret this non consumption utility component as a compensating wage differential.
