Hypoglossal and lumbar motor neuron death in old Sprague–Dawley rats
Hypoglossal and lumbar motor neurons (MNs) surival is essential for maintiaining neuromotor health into old age. We observed loss of predominantly larger hypoglossal and lumbar MNs in 24 compared to 6 months old Sprague‐Dawley rats. This shows MN loss in old age is common between rat strains and is similar to elderly humans.

ABSTRACT Injectable collagen biostimulators such as Calcium Hydroxyapatite and Poly‐L‐Lactic Acid are well‐established in regenerative dermatology for their ability to induce neocollagenesis and improve skin quality. Despite their proven individual efficacy, the combined use of these biomaterials remains underexplored.

Heat treatments that alter the proportions of austenite and ferrite phases or induce the precipitation of phases such as sigma in duplex stainless steel UNS S32205 make it more susceptible to pitting and crevice corrosion. However, the effects of these treatments are not always evident when analyzed using the cyclic polarization technique.

No Sex Differences in the Amount of Type IV Collagen in Wistar Rats Regardless of Sampling Strategy
ABSTRACT Serum collagen IV (Col IV) is an important marker for staging liver fibrosis, but histological baselines in healthy tissue are often lacking or biased. This study applied unbiased stereological sampling to quantify liver Col IV in healthy adult Wistar rats and assess sex differences.
