Electric Field‐Stimulated Autofluorescence for In Situ 3D Characterization of Polymer Defects

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Moderate electric fields induce intrinsic autofluorescence at microscale defects within diverse polymers under laser excitation. Combined with confocal microscopy, this probe‐free method enables real‐time, submicron‐resolution 3D imaging of voids, fillers, and electrical trees before irreversible damage occurs.

Time‐ and dose‐related pathological changes in knee osteoarthritis rat model induced by monosodium iodoacetate

open access: yesAnimal Models and Experimental Medicine, EarlyView.
Time‐ and dose‐related pathological changes of knee osteoarthritis rat model induced by monosodium iodoacetate. Abstract Knee osteoarthritis (KOA) is a chronic degenerative disease. Monosodium iodoacetate (MIA) induction is the most commonly used therapeutic effect evaluation and mechanism of action research model; we observed a lack of standardization

Exploring the impact of virtual reality anatomy training on preparing biomedical illustrators for drawing anatomical structures

open access: yesAnatomical Sciences Education, EarlyView.
Abstract Three‐dimensional visualization technologies (3DVTs) in anatomy education are popular as they offer a cost‐effective and accessible alternative to cadaveric specimens. However, the literature presents conflicting results regarding the effectiveness of 3DVTs in facilitating learning compared with traditional models.

Oxidative Stress Modulation and Antileishmanial Activity of Salvinia auriculata

open access: yesChemistry &Biodiversity, EarlyView.
Ethanolic extract of Salvinia auriculata showed significant antioxidant and antileishmanial activities. Salviniside II, the major metabolite, was isolated, structurally characterized, and evaluated, but exhibited weaker antiparasitic effects when compared to the whole extract.

Analysis of image formation in optical palpation

open access: yesJournal of Biophotonics, EarlyView.
Optical palpation is an emerging elastography technique that generates images of mechanical stress at the tissue surface, with applications in intraoperative cancer detection. Image formation is simulated using finite element analysis and validated with experiments on silicone phantoms, providing an analysis of trends in detectability, feature ...
