A new perspective on cancer treatment: the interaction and application prospect between ICIs and radiotherapy

open access: yesPrecision Radiation Oncology, EarlyView.
The combination of immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) and radiotherapy synergistically enhances efficacy through an “antigen release‐immune activation” closed‐loop mechanism, significantly improving outcomes in solid tumors (e.g., lung cancer, melanoma).

Combining radiotherapy with CAR‐T cell therapy for solid tumors: Challenges, mechanisms, and future directions

open access: yesPrecision Radiation Oncology, EarlyView.
Radiotherapy enhances CAR‐Tcell therapy by increasing antigenicity, improving trafficking, and reshaping the tumor microenvironment. Despite its dual effects, including potential immune suppression, understanding these mechanisms enables the development of strategies to maximize synergy in solid tumors.

Advances in mucosal injury mechanisms in radiation‐induced esophagitis associated with thoracic radiotherapy

open access: yesPrecision Radiation Oncology, EarlyView.
There is no specific therapeutic drug regimen for radiation esophagitis. In previous studies, radiation esophagitis was considered a self‐limiting disease; however, current clinical approaches are limited to symptomatic treatment, which yields unsatisfactory therapeutic outcomes.

Serious gastric perforation after second stereotactic body radiotherapy for peripheral lung cancer that recurred after initial stereotactic body radiotherapy: a case report

open access: yesJournal of Medical Case Reports, 2017
Background In recent reports, re-irradiation with stereotactic body radiotherapy for lung tumors in patients previously treated with thoracic radiation therapy resulted in several serious toxicities.

Radiomics for Response and Outcome Assessment for Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer. [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
Routine follow-up visits and radiographic imaging are required for outcome evaluation and tumor recurrence monitoring. Yet more personalized surveillance is required in order to sufficiently address the nature of heterogeneity in nonsmall cell lung ...

Safety of Immune Checkpoint Inhibitors Prior to Liver Transplantation in Hepatocellular Carcinoma

open access: yesAlimentary Pharmacology &Therapeutics, EarlyView.
Patients who received immune checkpoint inhibitors before liver transplant for the treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma had rejection and survival outcomes comparable to those without ICI exposure. Most rejection episodes were effectively managed with medical therapy.

Oligoprogressive renal cell carcinoma: What is the role of surgery?

open access: yesBJU International, EarlyView.
Objective To provide an overview of the biological mechanism and pattern of oligoprogression in renal cell carcinoma (RCC) and the most updated role of surgery in this setting, highlighting scientific gaps and informing future implications. Methods A non‐systematic search of PubMed/MEDLINE was performed in August 2025 including guidelines, reviews, and
