Utility of Access Soluble Transferrin Receptor (sTfR) and sTfR/log Ferritin Index in Diagnosing Iron Deficiency Anemia.

Annals of clinical and laboratory science, 2016
The Access(®) soluble transferrin receptor (sTfR) is considered the world's first automated chemiluminescence immunoassay. In this study, the diagnostic utility of this and other tests for serum iron were evaluated by studying their interrelationships with inflammation.

Simultaneous Tensor and Fiber Registration (STFR) for Diffusion Tensor Images of the Brain

2013
Accurate registration of diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) data of the brain among different subjects facilitates automatic normalization of structural and neural connectivity information and helps quantify white matter fiber tract differences between normal and disease.

Serum sTfR Levels May Indicate Charge Profiling of Urinary r-hEPO in Doping Control

Medicine & Science in Sports & Exercise, 2004
The aim of the study was to demonstrate whether changes in the charge pattern of urinary human erythropoietin (u-hEPO) from well-trained athletes before, during and after controlled administration of recombinant human EPO (r-hEPO) could be related to altered levels of hemoglobin (Hb), hematocrit (Hct), soluble transferrin receptor (sTfR) and maximal ...

A noble suspended type thin film resonator (STFR) using the SOI technology

Sensors and Actuators A: Physical, 2001
Abstract The fabrication and characteristics of suspended type thin film resonators (STFRs) using surface micromachining of the SOI technology, have been studied. The size of the active part of STFRs is 160 μm ×160  μm. For the piezoelectric AlN thin film, the following etch rate was observed 200 nm min−1 in 0.6 wt.% TMAH.

Unveiling STFR : Single-valued trivalent logic based fuzzy rhotrices

Journal of Discrete Mathematical Sciences & Cryptography
This study introduces a new mathematical structure called a “single-valued trivalent logic-based fuzzy rhotrix” (STFR). An STFR combines a r x r matrix and a (r -1) x (r -1) matrix with a membership function. This membership function takes its values from a set based on trivalent logic (a logic system with three possible truth values).

[Effects of the SNPs on rs855791 and rs3811647 on the levels of SF and sTfR in the group of 8 - 14].

Wei sheng yan jiu = Journal of hygiene research, 2015
To investigate effects on the levels of SF and sTfR by the SNPs of rs855791 on TMPRSS6 and rs3811647 on TF in adolescent.DNA was extracted from venous blood which were drawn from 50 subjects, and then the two SNPs of each sample were identified by Sequenom MassArray.
