Performance of Glass Fiber Composites With Plastic‐Waste Pyrolysis Char as Filler
Valorisation of mixed plastic waste into carbonaceous char via pyrolysis, its integration as a microfiller in epoxy/E‐glass (GFRP) laminates, and characterisation to assess composite performance as a function of filler loading. ABSTRACT Plastic pyrolysis offers circular solutions for mixed plastic waste but leaves a carbonaceous char that is often ...

Urinary Collagen Peptides Predict Mortality
ABSTRACT Organ fibrosis caused by the presence of excessive extracellular matrix (ECM) is related to mortality. Urinary peptide signatures were reported to be predictive of death in SARS‐CoV‐2 and chronic kidney disease. Such signatures were composed for 68% of collagen fragments.

Deformation, Creep, and Dynamics in Glassy Ionomers
Ionic architecture tunes the inelastic deformation of glassy ionomers. Simulations show that ionic associations leave the small‐strain elastic baseline nearly unchanged, but strongly reinforce yielding, strain hardening, and creep resistance. Polyampholyte architectures suppress nonaffine mobility and stress‐induced fluidization most effectively by ...

This prospective study developed a two‐step clinical scoring system for obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) screening based on patients’ somesthetic perception of oropharyngeal airflow. The Intermediate Score (IS ≥ 7.5) achieved 73% sensitivity and 77% specificity (AUC = 0.7754; OR = 8.96).

Physics-Guided Graph Convolutional Network for Ship Structural Failure Mode Classification
Ship structural failure mode classification still relies heavily on subjective expert judgment, which is time-consuming and may introduce uncertainty in safety assessment.

Osmotic Remodeling of Extracellular Vesicles for Precision Nanomedicine
Hypotonic lysis in bidistilled water is used to remodel B lymphocyte–derived extracellular vesicles into cargo‐depleted, structurally preserved nanovesicles. The process reduces intraluminal proteins and nucleic acids, reshapes membrane composition, and enhances tumor‐cell uptake in vitro, while allowing proof‐of‐concept reloading with exogenous agents,

Mode Interaction with Stiffened Panels
Previous work on mode interaction refers to a column model consisting of two equal flanges. This model is extremely sensitive to imperfection. Actual panel structures are unsymmetrical: the plate side has more cross section than the topside of the stiffeners; and the plate side is more affected by local buckling than the topside.
