We theoretically study the mechanism of the all-optical magnetic switching by combining the Rashba effect and stimulated Raman scattering. In hydrogenlike systems, we show that the Rashba effect splits the energy band and stimulated Raman scattering ...

Raman solitons in transient SRS
We report the observation of Raman solitons on numerical simulations of transient stimulated Raman scattering (TSRS) with small group velocity dispersion. The theory proceeds with the inverse scattering transform (IST) for initial-boundary value problems

Cavity-enhanced Raman Microscopy of Individual Carbon Nanotubes [PDF]
Raman spectroscopy reveals chemically specific information and provides label-free insight into the molecular world. However, the signals are intrinsically weak and call for enhancement techniques.

Stimulated Electronic X-Ray Raman Scattering [PDF]
We demonstrate strong stimulated inelastic x-ray scattering by resonantly exciting a dense gas target of neon with femtosecond, high-intensity x-ray pulses from an x-ray free-electron laser (XFEL). A small number of lower energy XFEL seed photons drive an avalanche of stimulated resonant inelastic x-ray scattering processes that amplify the Raman ...

Defects Dynamic in Photo‐Excited CeO2 and their Influence on CO2 Photoreduction
X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy study under light excitation is presented to track the defect dynamic (Ce4+ to Ce3+) in CeO2. Surface enhanced Raman spectroscopy confirmed the key role of Ce3+ states in controlling charge and energy transfer across the CeO2‐dye molecule interface.

Continuous-wave Cascaded-Harmonic Generation and Multi-Photon Raman Lasing in Lithium Niobate Whispering-Gallery Resonators [PDF]
We report experimental demonstration of continuous-wave cascaded-harmonic generation and Raman lasing in a millimeter-scale lithium niobate whispering-gallery resonator pumped at a telecommunication-compatible infrared wavelength.

Multicolor optoelectronic synapses are realized by vertically integrating solution‐processed MoS2 thin‐film and SWCNT. The electronically disconnected but interactive MoS2 enables photon‐modulated remote doping, producing a bi‐directional photoresponse.

Superchemistry: dynamics of coupled atomic and molecular Bose-Einstein condensates [PDF]
We analyze the dynamics of a dilute, trapped Bose-condensed atomic gas coupled to a diatomic molecular Bose gas by coherent Raman transitions. This system is shown to result in a new type of `superchemistry', in which giant collective oscillations ...

Electrically Tunable On‐Chip Topological Photonics with Integrated Carbon Nanotubes
This work demonstrates electrically tunable on‐chip topological THz devices by integrating 2D carbon nanotube (CNT) sheets with valley‐Hall photonic crystals, enabling broadband transmission modulation (71% modulation depth) and tunable narrowband filtering (0.54 GHz shift) through electrically induced thermal tuning. This advancement paves the way for
