Optimal workplacement for robotic friction stir welding task [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
Robotic manipulators are widely used in industry for welding processes. Inadequate joint stiffness in the manipulators often limits their use for high quality welding operations because of the deformation errors produced during the process.

EFFECT OF WELDING PARAMETERS ON MECHANICAL PROPERTIES OF FRICTION STIR LAP WELDED JOINTS FOR SIMILAR ALUMINUM ALLOYS (AA1100-H112 & AA6061-T6)

open access: yesJournal of Engineering and Sustainable Development, 2018
Friction stir welding (FSW) is a solid state welding used for joining similar and dissimilar aluminum alloys which are hard to weld by conventional fusion welding processes.

Role of 1D and 2D Materials in Achieving Transparent and Flexible Lithium‐Ion Batteries for Wearable Electronics

open access: yesSmall, EarlyView.
Hybrid 1D–2D architectures redefine material design strategies for TFLIBs by decoupling competing performance parameters. This approach accelerates the transition of TFLIBs from proof of concept to practical wearable technologies. ABSTRACT Transparent and flexible lithium‐ion batteries (TFLIBs), enabled by advanced nanomaterials and flexible ...

Highly integrated, alignment healing, and full‐recyclable multifunctional flexible devices based on dynamic covalent bonds

open access: yesSmart Molecules, EarlyView.
This study addresses stability, repair, and recycling in flexible devices using polymers with identical dynamic bonds but incompatible backbones. This enables robust integration, precise self‐healing, and full recyclability. We demonstrate optoelectronic sensors that, after damage, magnetically self‐assemble and heal upon heating.

Endocytosis‐independent cytosolic entry of messenger RNA via fluorous bilayer zippering attenuating Toll‐like receptor signaling and enables ischemic tissue salvage

open access: yesSmart Molecules, EarlyView.
The present study establishes a paradigm shift in synthetic mRNA delivery through the convergence of three orthogonal chemistries—perfluoro‐acylation, bio‐orthogonal click cross‐linking, and disulfide reduction—within a single, modular polymer architecture. Abstract A fundamental constraint of conventional messenger RNA (mRNA) delivery systems is their

Tailoring Laser Powder Bed Fusion and Post‐Processing Parameters for JIS SKD61 Tool Steels: Surface Roughness, Microstructure, and Mechanical Properties

open access: yessteel research international, EarlyView.
Laser powder bed fusion of JIS SKD61 tool steel is systematically optimized using a Taguchi design and ANOVA. Hatch spacing and layer thickness are identified as dominant parameters controlling surface roughness and tensile strength. Subsequent tempering at 600°C improves microstructural stability and mechanical performance, enabling high‐density SKD61
