Modelling of Friction Stir Welding [PDF]
This thesis investigates the modelling of friction stir welding (FSW). FSW is a relatively new welding process where a rotating non-consumable tool is used to join two materials through high temperature deformation.

A General Workflow for Tangential Flow Filtration Perfusion Scale‐Up
ABSTRACT Tangential flow filtration (TFF) perfusion using hollow‐fiber modules offers substantial advantages over other mammalian cell retention technologies. Recently, increased awareness of Starling flow has helped to enhance filtration performance to similar, or even higher levels compared to alternative technologies.

A Homoleptic Copper(I) Acetylene Complex
Ligand substitution of weakly coordinated N2 in [(N2)Cu{Al(ORF)4}] (RF = C(CF3)3) leads to the homoleptic acetylene complex [Cu(C2H2)3]+[Al(ORF)4]−, which was characterized by single crystal x‐ray diffraction, NMR, and Raman spectroscopy, as well as by extensive quantum chemical calculations. ABSTRACT We report the synthesis and characterization of the

This study presents a sustainable smart‐coating strategy for protecting underground steel infrastructures from chloride‐induced corrosion. Zinc‐aluminum layered double hydroxides (LDHs) and tannin‐loaded LDHs (LDH–TA) were incorporated into an epoxy matrix to provide both enhanced barrier properties and active, pH‐responsive inhibition.
