Designable van der Waals Crystal for Artificial Neuronal Cell Mimicking
Designable van der Waals crystal has been demonstrated for device‐scale neuronal cell mimicking. The structural similarity between ion‐channel in biological membranes and layered vdW lattices is realized with nano‐crystallization via Ar + H2S plasma sulfurization.

Forward induction and the excess capacity puzzle: An experimental investigation [PDF]
While the theoretical industrial organization literature has long argued that excess capacity can be used to deter entry into markets, there is little empirical evidence that incumbent firms effectively behave in this way.

Super‐Resolution Ultrasound Based Cell Tracking With Polymeric Nanobubbles
This study presents a super‐resolution ultrasound platform for tracking cells in vivo. Biocompatible polymeric nanobubbles are used as highly echogenic intracellular labels. Following the injection of cells and microbubbles, ultrasound localization microscopy (ULM) can dynamically match the microvascular architecture and individual cell trajectories ...

Oppositely charged single enzyme nanogels (SENs) phase‐separate into bi‐enzymatic coacervate microdroplets, acting as both scaffold and functional units. By tuning SEN ratios, these coacervates create specific microenvironments that enable selective small‐molecule enrichment and efficient intermediate diffusion.

Incentives and 99% capture rate: Minimizing post-decision regret in a net-zero power world
To hasten power-sector decarbonization, the U.S. Congress legislated changes to the tax code to provide incentives for renewable and zero-carbon capacity expansion and increase existing 45Q incentives for carbon capture and storage (CCS) and direct air ...

Technical Efficiency of the Danish Trawl fleet: Are the Industrial Vessels Better than Others? [PDF]
Technical efficiency in the Danish trawl fishery in the North Sea is estimated for 1997 and 1998 by a stochastic production frontier model. This model allows noise when the frontier and the technical efficiency is found, which for fisheries is a ...

A 3D‐Printed Blister Test Platform for Quantifying Biointerface Adhesion Mechanisms
A 3D‐printed blister platform enables energy‐resolved characterization of soft hydrogel–rigid interfaces. Integrating precision pressure control with hyperelastic modeling directly quantifies adhesion energy (G) and R‐curve toughening. Results reveal that modulating hydrogel concentration and surface roughness drives a tunable transition from cohesive ...

Innovative and absorptive capacity of international knowledge : an empirical analysis of productivity sources in Latin American countries [PDF]
This paper examines two sources of global knowledge spillovers: foreign direct investments and trade. Empirical evidence demonstrates that foreign direct investment and trade can contribute to overall domestic productivity growth only when the technology
