Dynamic Analysis of an SICR Hepatitis C Infection Model with Stochastic Effects

open access: yesJournal of Harbin University of Science and Technology, 2023
In order to study the influence of uncertain factors on hepatitis C in reality, a randomized SICR hepatitis C model with acute and chronic infection was considered.

Homogenized dynamics of stochastic partial differential equations with dynamical boundary conditions

open access: yes, 2007
A microscopic heterogeneous system under random influence is considered. The randomness enters the system at physical boundary of small scale obstacles as well as at the interior of the physical medium.

LDAcoop: Integrating non‐linear population dynamics into the analysis of clonogenic growth in vitro

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Limiting dilution assays (LDAs) quantify clonogenic growth by seeding serial dilutions of cells and scoring wells for colony formation. The fraction of negative wells is plotted against cells seeded and analyzed using the non‐linear modeling of LDAcoop.

A stochastic model for the dynamics of electromagnetic waves connected to each other on the mirror

open access: yesУчёные записки Казанского университета: Серия Физико-математические науки, 2018
The paper develops stochastic differential equations serving as the basis for derivation of master equations for microcavity photons pumped with either classic or quantized contracted fields.

Simple Degree-of-Freedom Modeling of the Random Fluctuation Arising in Human–Bicycle Balance

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2019
In this study, we propose a new simple degree-of-freedom fluctuation model that accurately reproduces the probability density functions (PDFs) of human−bicycle balance motions as simply as possible.

Stochastic modelling [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of the workshop on Data-driven methods in machine translation -, 2001
This paper gives an overview of the stochastic modelling approach to machine translation. Starting with the Bayes decision rule as in pattern classification and speech recognition, we show how the resulting system architecture can be structured into three parts: the language model probability, the string translation model probability and the search ...

RaMBat: Accurate identification of medulloblastoma subtypes from diverse data sources with severe batch effects

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
To integrate multiple transcriptomics data with severe batch effects for identifying MB subtypes, we developed a novel and accurate computational method named RaMBat, which leveraged subtype‐specific gene expression ranking information instead of absolute gene expression levels to address batch effects of diverse data sources.

Aviation industry stochastic model based on big data concept

open access: yesУчёные записки Казанского университета: Серия Физико-математические науки, 2018
Modern aviation industry is a complex large-scale system that includes designing, testing, production, operation, maintains services, etc. Thus, it seems reasonable to provide information logistical support throughout the life cycle of single processes ...

A Comprehensive Overview of the Clinical, Electrophysiological, and Neuroimaging Features of BPAN: Insights From a New Case Series

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Neurodegeneration with brain iron accumulation (NBIA) comprises a genetically and clinically heterogeneous group of rare neurological disorders characterized particularly by iron accumulation in the basal ganglia. To date, 15 genes have been associated with NBIA.
