Cancer cell‐intrinsic type 1 interferon: production, signaling, and outcomes within sex‐biased, female malignancies

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The cell‐autonomous roles of interferon type 1 vary based on duration and intensity. While acute, robust signaling results in cancer cell cytotoxic effects, sustained, low‐level signaling is associated with tumor‐promoting effects. This review summarizes current research of IFN‐1 in cancer and within the clinical setting, with an emphasis on female ...

Infinite Horizon Optimal Control of Stochastic Delay Evolution Equations in Hilbert Spaces

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2013
The aim of the present paper is to study an infinite horizon optimal control problem in which the controlled state dynamics is governed by a stochastic delay evolution equation in Hilbert spaces.

Singularly Perturbed Forward-Backward Stochastic Differential Equations: Application to the Optimal Control of Bilinear Systems

open access: yesComputation, 2018
We study linear-quadratic stochastic optimal control problems with bilinear state dependence where the underlying stochastic differential equation (SDE) has multiscale features.

Control Theory and Economic Policy Optimization: The Origin, Achievements and the Fading Optimism from a Historical Standpoint [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Business and Development Studies, 2015
Economists were interested in economic stabilization policies as early as the 1930’s but the formal applications of stability theory from the classical control theory to economic analysis appeared in the early 1950’s when a number of control engineers ...

Mutant NPM1 in Acute Myeloid Leukemia Initiation and Maintenance

open access: yesAging and Cancer, EarlyView.
NPM1 mutations drive acute myeloid leukemia by acting as neomorphic transcriptional regulators that cooperate with Menin–MLL and XPO1 to sustain HOX/MEIS1 expression and block differentiation. Targeting these mutant‐specific transcriptional dependencies provides a rational therapeutic strategy for NPM1‐mutated AML.

STOCHASTIC MODELING OF OPTIMIZED CREDIT STRATEGY OF A DISTRIBUTING COMPANY ON THE PHARMACEUTICAL MARKET

open access: yesВісник Київського національного університету імені Тараса Шевченка. Серія Економіка, 2015
The activity of distribution companies is multifaceted. Ihey establish contacts with producers and consumers, determine the range of prices of medicines, do promotions, hold stocks of pharmaceuticals and take risks in their further selling.Their internal

Stochastic Optimal Control Matching

open access: yesAdvances in Neural Information Processing Systems 37
Stochastic optimal control, which has the goal of driving the behavior of noisy systems, is broadly applicable in science, engineering and artificial intelligence. Our work introduces Stochastic Optimal Control Matching (SOCM), a novel Iterative Diffusion Optimization (IDO) technique for stochastic optimal control that stems from the same philosophy as

Observer‐Based Adaptive Event‐Triggered Tracking Control for Fuzzy TS Systems With Premise Mismatch

open access: yesInternational Journal of Adaptive Control and Signal Processing, EarlyView.
This paper presents an adaptive logistic event‐triggered observer‐based tracking controller for Takagi‐Sugeno fuzzy systems under constrained inputs and network delays. Leveraging a hybrid LMI and Secretary Bird Optimization approach, this strategy significantly minimizes communication overhead and computational burden while ensuring optimal reference ...

Stochastic Optimal Control to Minimize the Impact of Manufacturing Variations on Nanomechanical Systems

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
This paper presents a control method intended to suppress the effects of manufacturing variations on nanomechanical systems. Often, the resonance characteristics of nanoscale devices are inconsistent, due to unavoidable variations in the fabrication ...

Stochastic recursive optimal control problem with obstacle constraint involving diffusion type control

open access: yesAdvances in Difference Equations, 2020
This paper concerns a kind of stochastic optimal control problem with recursive utility described by a reflected backward stochastic differential equation (RBSDE, for short) involving diffusion type control which covers regular control problem, singular ...
