Stochastic Periodic Solution and Permanence of a Holling–Leslie Predator-Prey System with Impulsive Effects

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics, 2021
Considering the environmental effects, a Holling–Leslie predator-prey system with impulsive and stochastic disturbance is proposed in this paper. Firstly, we prove that existence of periodic solution, the mean time boundness of variables is found by ...

Robust permanence and impermanence for stochastic replicator dynamics

open access: yesJournal of Biological Dynamics, 2008
Garay and Hofbauer (SIAM J. Math. Anal. 34 (2003)) proposed sufficient conditions for robust permanence and impermanence of the deterministic replicator dynamics. We reconsider these conditions in the context of the stochastic replicator dynamics, which is obtained from its deterministic analogue by introducing Brownian perturbations of payoffs.

Permanence and extinction for the stochastic SIR epidemic model [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Differential Equations, 2020
The aim of this paper is to study the stochastic SIR equation with general incidence functional responses and in which both natural death rates and the incidence rate are perturbed by white noises. We derive a sufficient and almost necessary condition for the extinction and permanence for an epidemic system with multi noises \begin{equation*} \begin ...

Long-time behavior of a nonautonomous stochastic predator–prey model with jumps

open access: yesModern Stochastics: Theory and Applications, 2021
The existence and uniqueness of a global positive solution is proven for the system of stochastic differential equations describing a nonautonomous stochastic predator–prey model with a modified version of the Leslie–Gower term and Holling-type II ...

Stochastic Permanent Breaks [PDF]

open access: yesReview of Economics and Statistics, 1999
This paper bridges the gap between processes where shocks are permanent and those with transitory shocks by formulating a process in which the long-run impact of each innovation is time-varying and stochastic. In the stochastic permanent breaks (STOPBREAK) process, frequent transitory shocks are supplemented by occasional permanent shifts.

Stochastic two-species mutualism model with jumps

open access: yesModern Stochastics: Theory and Applications, 2020
The existence and uniqueness are proved for the global positive solution to the system of stochastic differential equations describing a two-species mutualism model disturbed by the white noise, the centered and non-centered Poisson noises.

Long-Time Behaviours of a Stochastic Predator-Prey System with Holling-Type II Functional Response and Regime Switching

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics, 2021
Considering the impacts of white noise, Holling-type II functional response, and regime switching, we formulate a stochastic predator-prey model in this paper.

Permanents of doubly stochastic trees

open access: yesLinear Algebra and its Applications, 2003
The minimum permanent of matrices \(\mu(T)\) in doubly stochastic matrices of order \(n\) is studied. It is found that \[ \mu_{\min} (n)\leq 1/2^{n-1} \text{ and }\mu_{\max}(n) \geq(n-2)^{n-2}/(n-1)^{n-1}, \] respectively.

Dynamical analysis of a stochastic SIS epidemic model with nonlinear incidence rate and double epidemic hypothesis

open access: yesAdvances in Difference Equations, 2017
In this paper, a stochastic SIS epidemic model with nonlinear incidence rate and double epidemic hypothesis is proposed and analysed. We explain the effects of stochastic disturbance on disease transmission.
