Robust Stability and Stabilization of a Class of Uncertain Nonlinear Discrete-Time Stochastic Systems with Interval Time-Varying Delays

open access: yesJournal of Control Science and Engineering, 2016
This paper deals with the problems of the robust stochastic stability and stabilization for a class of uncertain discrete-time stochastic systems with interval time-varying delays and nonlinear disturbances.

Tough, Ductile, and Strong Hard‐Soft Cementitious Composite Enabled by Multi‐Material Additive Manufacturing

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Drawing inspiration from the layered hard‐soft architecture found in sea sponges, this work establishes a new framework for architected cementitious composites (ACC) through multi‐material additive manufacturing (MMAM) process. The integration of mortar and elastomer phases into layered architectures enables synergistic toughening mechanisms, including

Stability of Solutions to the Stochastic Oskolkov Equation and Stabilization

open access: yesBulletin of the South Ural State University. Series "Mathematical Modelling, Programming and Computer Software"
Summary: This paper studies the stability of solutions to the stochastic Oskolkov equation describing a plane-parallel flow of a viscoelastic fluid. This is the equation we consider in the form of a stochastic semilinear Sobolev type equation. First, we consider the solvability of the stochastic Oskolkov equation by the stochastic phase space method ...

Stochastic Stability in the Best Shot Game [PDF]

open access: yes
The best shot game applied to networks is a discrete model of many processes of contribution to local public goods. It has generally a wide multiplicity of equilibria that we refine through stochastic stability.

Universal Conductance Fluctuations in Quantum Anomalous Hall Insulators

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Universal conductance fluctuations are observed in mesoscopic quantum anomalous Hall insulators. Two distinct fluctuation patterns are identified, arising from different interference processes of bulk and chiral edge states, respectively. These findings unveil rich quantum interference phenomena in quantum anomalous Hall insulators and provide insights

Forecasting The Romanian Financial System Stability Using A Stochastic Simulation Model [PDF]

open access: yes
The aim of this paper is to develop an aggregate stability index for the Romanian financial system, which is meant to enhance the set of analysis used by authorities to assess the financial system stability.

A stochastic differential equation SIS epidemic model

open access: yes, 2011
In this paper we extend the classical susceptible-infected-susceptible epidemic model from a deterministic framework to a stochastic one and formulate it as a stochastic differential equation (SDE) for the number of infectious individuals $I(t)$. We then

Room‐Temperature Skyrmionic Synapse in 2D Ferromagnet Fe3GaTe2 Operating via Collective Spin Texture Transformation

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
We demonstrate a neuromorphic synapse in 2D Fe3GaTe2 flakes. The device operates via a current‐driven transformation from a skyrmion‐lattice to a stripe‐domain state, yielding a linear anomalous Hall resistance response with a tunable slope to enable multiply‐accumulate operations. Simulations confirm its viability in artificial neural networks.

On the Stability of Stochastic Jump Kinetics

open access: yesApplied Mathematics, 2014
Motivated by the lack of a suitable constructive framework for analyzing popular stochastic models of Systems Biology, we devise conditions for existence and uniqueness of solutions to certain jump stochastic differential equations (SDEs). Working from simple examples we find reasonable and explicit assumptions on the driving coefficients for the SDE ...
