Stabilisation of hybrid stochastic differential equations by delay feedback control

open access: yes, 2008
This paper is concerned with the exponential mean-square stabilisation of hybrid stochastic differential equations (also known as stochastic dierential equations with Markovian switching) by delay feedback controls.

Self‐Powered Flexible Triboelectric‐Gated Ion‐Gel Transistor for Neuromorphic Tactile Sensing and Human Activity Recognition

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A fully flexible ion‐gel‐gated graphene‐channel transistor driven by a triboelectric nanogenerator enables self‐powered tactile sensing and synaptic learning. Mimicking spike‐rate‐dependent plasticity, the device exhibits frequency‐selective potentiation and depression, supporting rate‐coded neuromorphic computation even under flex.

The missing piece syndrome in peer-to-peer communication

open access: yesStochastic Systems, 2011
Typical protocols for peer-to-peer file sharing over the Internet divide files to be shared into pieces. New peers strive to obtain a complete collection of pieces from other peers and from a seed. In this paper we investigate a problem that can occur if

The Complex Dynamics of a Stochastic Predator-Prey Model

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2012
A modified stochastic ratio-dependent Leslie-Gower predator-prey model is formulated and analyzed. For the deterministic model, we focus on the existence of equilibria, local, and global stability; for the stochastic model, by applying Itô formula and ...

Stability analysis of stochastic networked control systems

open access: yes, 2010
In this paper, we study the stability of Networked Control Systems (NCSs) that are subject to time-varying transmission intervals, time-varying transmission delays, packet-dropouts and communication constraints. Communication constraints impose that, per

Thermal‐Driven Diode Polarity Switching From Competing Helical Superconducting States in WTe2/α‐Fe2O3 Heterostructures

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A Nb‐proximitized Josephson junction based on a WTe2/α‐Fe2O3 heterostructure exhibits a robust superconducting diode effect with programmable polarity. The diode direction can be trained by magnetic fields and switched by temperature cycling, revealing tunable finite‐momentum pairing states and competing superconducting states in symmetry‐broken ...

The dimension of stability of stochastic automata

open access: yesInformation and Control, 1974
The concept of the dimension of stability of stochastic automata is introduced and examined. We are concerned with the minimal-state form of the automaton and the dimension of stability. Natural automata are defined, for which the dimension of stability is not less than the difference between the number of states and the number of states of its minimal-

Orbital stability index for stochastic systems

open access: yes, 2000
The Known concepts of Lyapunov exponent, moment Lyapunov exponents, and stability index for stationary points of stochastic systems are carried over for invariant orbits with nonvanishing diffusion. The obtained geneal results are applied to investiating

All‐Optical Reconfigurable Physical Unclonable Function for Sustainable Security

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
An all‐optical reconfigurable physical unclonable function (PUF) is demonstrated using plasmonic coupling–induced sintering of optically trapped gold nanoparticles, where Brownian motion serves as a robust entropy source. The resulting optical PUF exhibits high encoding density, strong resistance to modeling attacks, and practical authentication ...
