ABSTRACT Heavy metals in environmental waste can pollute the environment and disrupt human health if not managed properly. Heavy metal contamination from industrial waste, particularly cobalt (Co) and lead (Pb), poses serious environmental and health risks due to their toxicity, persistence, and bioaccumulative nature.

ABSTRACT This study investigates the rheological behavior of industrial phosphoric acids (H3PO4) produced at the JORF–LASFAR phosphoric plant in Morocco, with P2O5 concentrations of 18%, 29%, 42%, and 54%. Rheological measurements were performed using a rotary cylinder rheometer over a shear rate range of 1–1000 s−1.

Urban stone sulphation and oil-fired carbonaceous particles
Science of The Total Environment, 1984Abstract There is evidence that oil-fired carbonaceous particles play an important role in the gypsum formation on urban limestone. The course of the stone decay registered in Venice strongly supports this view. A model simulating the impact of atmospheric factors on this mechanism justifies the unusually high rate of stone damage observed in Venice.

Morphology of Urinary Stone Particles Resulting from ESWL Treatment
Journal of Urology, 1986Fragments of urinary stones resulting from extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy were examined by light and scanning electron microscopy. Calcium oxalate monohydrate and uric acid stone fragments were homogeneous and regular whereas struvite stone fragments were irregular in shape.

Effects of particle size on quality characteristics of stone‐milled whole wheat flour
Journal of the Science of Food and Agriculture, 2023AbstractBackgroundWhole wheat flour (WWF) prepared by the direct crushing method preserves all the components of the whole wheat grain. WWF with different particle sizes (180, 150, 125, 106, and 96 μm) was obtained by combining stone milling and particle size sieving technology.

Sodium Fluoride Dissolution of Human Calcium Oxalate/Phosphate Stone Particles
Journal of Endourology, 1995The dissolutive effects of sodium fluoride on human calcium stone particles were investigated in an in vitro model. Stone particles composed of 65% calcium oxalate and 35% calcium phosphate dissolved in a dose-dependent fashion with NaF exposure.
