About Application the Tyre-Road Adhesion Determination of a Vehicle Equipped with an Automated System of Brake Proportioning

open access: yesНаука и техника, 2019
The paper considers a method for calculation and evaluation of an automated brake proportioning system and it also describes assessment of efficiency while using cohesion forces of an automated system during vehicle braking process (MAZ 256200 taken as ...

Tracking Health Related Quality of Life From Diagnosis to Follow‐Up Among Australian Children With Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Acute lymphoblastic leukaemia (ALL) is one of the most treatable forms of paediatric cancer; however, there is a substantial burden of treatment‐related toxicities (TRTs). In addition, the long‐term changes in children's health‐related quality of life (HRQoL) due to toxic treatments are not well understood.

Structural insights and therapeutic targets in Acinetobacter baumannii capsule biosynthesis

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Hypervirulent KL49 A. baumannii's capsular polysaccharide contains the nonulosonic acid 8‐epi‐Leg5,7Ac2, synthesized by epimerization via ElaA, ElaB, and ElaC. Crystal structures of ElaA, ElaB, and ElaC reveal their role in CMP‐Leg5,7Ac2 synthesis and regioselective C8 epimerization.

Jets in a strongly coupled anisotropic plasma

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields, 2018
In this paper, we study the dynamics of the light quark jet moving through the static, strongly coupled $${\mathcal {N}}=4$$ N=4 , anisotropic plasma with and without charge.

Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...

Simulation-based estimation of an automotive magnetorheological brake system performance

open access: yesJournal of Advanced Research, 2018
Magnetorheological (MR) brakes, owing to their quick response, are being investigated as a possible candidate for substitution for the conventional hydraulic brakes of road vehicles. The MR brake system for a two-wheeler application was envisaged in this

Keratin 19 as a prognostic marker and contributing factor of metastasis and chemoresistance in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Keratin 19 (KRT19) is overexpressed in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer with high levels of Kallikrein‐related peptidases (KLK) 4–7 and is associated with poor survival. In vivo analyses demonstrate that elevated KRT19 increases peritoneal tumour burden.

A REVIEW OF THE ANTI-LOCK BRAKE DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM AND ITS CONTROL TECHNIQUES [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of the Egyptian Society of Tribology
The brake system is one of the important systems in vehicles because of its importance in stopping the car in the shortest stopping distance. Some appropriate systems help the brake system work to reduce the stopping distance.

Unsupervised GAN epoch selection for biomedical data synthesis

open access: yesCurrent Directions in Biomedical Engineering, 2023
Supervised Neural Networks are used for segmentation in many biological and biomedical applications. To omit the time-consuming and tiring process of manual labeling, unsupervised Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs) can be used to synthesize labeled ...
