Spectroscopic Evidence of Edge‐Localized States in an Antiferromagnet Topological Insulator NdBi
Using spin‐polarized scanning tunneling microscopy (STM) in conjunction with quasiparticle interference, we successfully identify distinct signatures of the ferromagnetic and antiferromagnetic terminations in NdBi, a rare‐earth monopnictide exhibiting non‐trivial topology and magnetism. We demonstrate that step edges on ferromagnetic surfaces host well‐

Ozone as a new control strategy for storage systems pest [PDF]
Ozone (O3) is a strong oxidant with a long history of safe use in many fields such as agricultural sector, food, textile, industrial and paper sectors, in the disinfection of water (drinking water and in the processing of waste water), etc. Environmental friendly properties are its main advantage compared to traditional pesticides and fungicides.

A biomass‐derived additive synthesized from chitin, 3‐acetylamino‐5‐acetylfuran (3A5AF), resolves key stability issues such as uncontrolled dendrite growth, hydrogen evolution reaction, and corrosion of zinc anodes by reconstructing the solvation structure of the electrolyte and protecting the anode interface. ABSTRACT Aqueous zinc‐based batteries face

Behavioral Response of Rhyzopertha dominica, Lesser Grain Borer, to Wheat Volatiles [PDF]
The lesser grain borer is a grain pest that eats and damages grain products such as rice, corn, wheat, and millet (Edde, 2012). The lesser grain borer has a tendency to to reproduce rapidly and explode into big infestations under optimal conditions ...
