The Ile181Asn variant of human UDP‐xylose synthase (hUXS1), associated with a short‐stature genetic syndrome, has previously been reported as inactive. Our findings demonstrate that Ile181Asn‐hUXS1 retains catalytic activity similar to the wild‐type but exhibits reduced stability, a looser oligomeric state, and an increased tendency to precipitate ...

Maximizing maximal angles for plane straight-line graphs
Let G=(S,E) be a plane straight-line graph on a finite point set S⊂R2 in general position. The incident angles of a point p∈S in G are the angles between any two edges of G that appear consecutively in the circular order of the edges incident to p.

We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

A Synthesis and Optimal Method for Straight Line Mechanism with Burmester Points
When a Burmester point coincides with the Ball point at the inflection circle pole, given a fixed joint and the point, which is on the expecting straight-line and direction can synthesize an infinite number of mechanisms with coupler curve having a five ...

Two-dimensional box plot [PDF]
In this paper we propose a two-dimensional box plot, a simple bivariate extension of the box plot and the scatter plot. This plot comprises a pair of trapeziums oriented in the direction of a fitted straight line, with symbols denoting extreme values ...

Existing Line Correction Based on Cuckoo Algorithm
Using proper line correction optimal design parameter can reduce overall adjustment quantity of line correction and maintenance. An existing line correction method based on the cuckoo search algorithm was proposed in this paper.

We identified a systemic, progressive loss of protein S‐glutathionylation—detected by nonreducing western blotting—alongside dysregulation of glutathione‐cycle enzymes in both neuronal and peripheral tissues of Taiwanese SMA mice. These alterations were partially rescued by SMN antisense oligonucleotide therapy, revealing persistent redox imbalance as ...

Approximate Straight-Line Motion From Simple Spatial Mechanisms
A simple form of spin-surface is investigated and it is shown how, via this surface, spatial mechanisms may readily be synthesized to give twelve-point straight line motion or twelve-point circular motion.

Optimal recovery of the derivate from the confined analytic function [PDF]
In the article the author finds out the best straight-line method to recover the derivate in zero-point from the confined analytic function determined in the unit circle according to values of the function and values of its derivate in given points ...

In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.
