Extreme Hardening of Pb at High Pressure and Strain Rate
We study the high-pressure strength of Pb and Pb-4wt%Sb at the National Ignition Facility. We measure Rayleigh-Taylor growth of preformed ripples ramp compressed to ∼400 GPa peak pressure, among the highest-pressure strength measurements ever reported on any platform.

The tensile strain-hardening behavior of pure Ti at 100 K was investigated using X-ray diffraction line-profile analysis and plasticity simulation. The strain hardening was significantly increased at 100 K, compared with that observed at 298 K.

Analysis of Strain Hardening Stages of AISI 316 LN Stainless Steel Under Cold Rolling Conditions
In the present investigation, stress–strain curves and strain hardening rates on samples rolled at ambient temperature with thickness reductions of 0%, 10%, 30%, and 50% were studied.

A Modified Johnson-Cook Model for Hot Deformation Behavior of 35CrMo Steel
In this work, a compression experiment of 35CrMo steel is carried out over a wide range of temperatures (1123–1423 K) and strain rates (0.1–10 s−1) to obtain further understandings of the flow behaviors.

The hardening behavior of AISI 304 steel is investigated at various strain rates, from the quasi-static state to ultra-high strain rates, because it is necessary for numerical simulation of high-speed deformation problems.

The human gut microbiome across the life course
Despite significant individual variation and continuous change throughout life, the human gut microbiome follows some life stage‐specific trends. This article provides a brief overview of how gut microbiome composition shifts across different phases of life. Created in BioRender. Özkurt, E. (2026) https://BioRender.com/8q4nrnc.

Degradation mechanism of the von Willebrand factor A2 domain by nattokinase
Nattokinase, a natto‐derived protease, exhibits potent antithrombotic effects. This study demonstrates that nattokinase directly cleaves the von Willebrand factor (vWF) A2 domain in vitro. Unlike the native regulator ADAMTS13, nattokinase degrades folded vWF independently of shear stress.

An investigation of dynamic mechanical behaviour of Ti6Al4V titanium alloy at room temperature
To study the high strain rate shear behaviour of Ti6Al4V titanium alloy, a series of dynamic compression experiments has been performed by split Hopkinson pressure bar (SHPB) using Flat Hat-shaped specimen at room temperature.
