A strange myalgia

A 70-year-old man was admitted in our hospital with mild fever, pain, myalgia. His eosinophil count was high, leading to a diagnosis of hypereosinophilic syndrome. This case report gives rise to many questions regarding diagnosis and correct management of eosinophilic myopathies.

Anomalous strangeness transport

Nondissipative transport of strangeness is studied in a chiral hadronic plasma with three flavors. In the phase in which chiral symmetry is preserved, strangeness transport is found to be driven by both an external magnetic field and fluid vorticity.
