, 1979 In these lectures, the nuclear strangeness exchange reaction (K¯, π¯) is discussed. Possible reaction mechanisms are reviewed in Section 2, while the spectroscopic Ʌ-hypernuclear information derived from observation of strangeness exchange is discussed in Section 3.
