Redundant Inertial-Aided GBAS for Civil Aviation

open access: yes, 2010
In this article, we investigate the impact of redundant MEMS-IMU on a loosely coupled INS/GBAS system. Therefore, we consider and analyze the combined performance of three identically and orthogonally mounted low-cost IMUs.

Research on the automotive sensor–aided low-cost inertial navigation system for land vehicles

open access: yesAdvances in Mechanical Engineering, 2019
When a low-cost micro-electro-mechanical system inertial measurement unit is used for a vehicle navigation system, errors will quickly accumulate because of the large micro-electro-mechanical system sensor measurement noise.

A Combined Navigation Fault Detection Method Based on Wavelet‐ResNet

open access: yesElectronics Letters, Volume 61, Issue 1, January/December 2025.
A combined navigation dataset, using wavelet transform is constructed and a residual network structure is trained for fault detection. The results show that this method can effectively improve the training efficiency and the accuracy of slowly varying faults.

An Improve Hybrid Calibration Scheme for Strapdown Inertial Navigation System [PDF]

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
This paper develops an improved hybrid calibration scheme for the strapdown inertial navigation system (SINS) that combines the advantages of an optimal rotational norm calibration method and an improved system-level calibration method. To accurately determine the scale factors and misalignment error of gyros triad, the optimal rotation norm ...

A Student's T Distribution‐Based Filter Design for SINS/GNSS With Heavy‐Tailed Noise

open access: yesIET Electric Power Applications, Volume 19, Issue 1, January/December 2025.
To reduce the affection of outliers caused by heavy‐tailed noise, the noise model is constructed by the Student's T distribution rather than the Gaussian distribution, and the related probability density functions (PDF) are adaptively modelled as student's T PDFs with different DoF parameters.
