Multiframe Target Localization With Strapdown Seeker Based on Self‐Adaptive L‐SHADE

open access: yesInternational Journal of Aerospace Engineering, Volume 2025, Issue 1, 2025.
Strapdown seekers are increasingly used in the terminal guidance for the advantages of small size and low cost. However, due to the coupling of the seeker with the missile and its limited field of view, there is a risk of losing the target. This paper proposes a multiframe fusion target localization method for missiles with strapdown seekers, which can

Application of covariance analysis method in design of modulated inertial navigation systems

open access: yesXibei Gongye Daxue Xuebao, 2023
Error analysis of inertial navigation systems is one of the important tasks in inertial navigation research. Through error analysis, the contribution of each error in the system to the total error can be obtained.

SmokeNav: Millimeter‐Wave‐Radar/Inertial Measurement Unit Integrated Positioning and Semantic Mapping in Visually Degraded Environments for First Responders

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, Volume 6, Issue 12, December 2024.
In this work, SmokeNav, a system that fuses inertial sensor and millimeter‐wave radar for accurate user localization and metric map reconstruction in visually degraded environments, is presented. Using a foot‐mounted inertial sensor with human motion constraints, SmokeNav leverages inertial positioning to construct occupancy maps from radar data.

An Aided Navigation Method Based on Strapdown Gravity Gradiometer

open access: yesSensors, 2021
The gravity gradient is the second derivative of gravity potential. A gravity gradiometer can measure the small change of gravity at two points, which contains more abundant navigation and positioning information than gravity.

Robust adaptive non‐linear alignment algorithm for SINS/DVL integrated navigation system based on variational Bayesian

open access: yesIET Science, Measurement &Technology, Volume 18, Issue 9, Page 524-539, November 2024.
The proposed algorithm VBRAUKF is useful for dynamic alignment of SINS/DVL. According to the inaccurate modelling of the observation model, an adaptive estimation strategy for the measurement noise covariance is designed by Variational Bayesian algorithm based on unscented Kalman filter algorithm to solve dynamic attitude alignment for SINS/DVL ...

Data‐driven observability analysis and enhancement for radome slope estimation with constraints on impact angle and terminal acceleration

open access: yesIET Radar, Sonar &Navigation, Volume 18, Issue 10, Page 1887-1907, October 2024.
The authors propose a data‐driven observability analysis method for radome aberration estimation systems with LOS‐angle‐only measurements, and an observability‐enhanced guidance law that considers both impact angle and terminal acceleration constraints.

Initial Alignment Algorithm Based on the DMCS Method in Single-Axis RSINS with Large Azimuth Misalignment Angles for Submarines

open access: yesSensors, 2018
Since the inertial sensor error has been modulated effectively by the Rotation Modulation Technique (RMT), the Rotation Strapdown Inertial Navigation System (RSINS) has been widely used for submarines in order to satisfy the requirement of high-accuracy ...
