Cyclone‐Like Features Within the Stratospheric Polar‐Night Vortex
Distinctive synoptic‐scale (∼1,500 km) flow features are identified within the core of the stratospheric polar‐night vortex at stratopause altitudes (∼50 km).

A Study of the Low-Ozone Episode over Scandinavia and Northwestern Russia in March 2025
Following a very cold first half of the Arctic stratosphere winter of 2024–2025, the stratospheric polar vortex weakened from late February. The increase in the polar lower stratosphere temperature led to a decrease in the polar stratospheric cloud (PSC)

The role of the basic state in the climate response to future Arctic sea ice loss
There is great uncertainty in the atmospheric circulation response to future Arctic sea ice loss, with some models predicting a shift towards the negative phase of the North Atlantic Oscillation (NAO), while others predicting a more neutral NAO response.
