Dynamischer Austausch von Bindemolekülen steigert die Effizienz der Proteinmarkierung in DNA‐PAINT um das bis zu 15‐Fache

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.

Proton Therapy and Gliomas: A Systematic Review

open access: yesRadiation, 2021
Background: Gliomas are primary cerebral tumors. Radiation therapy plays a key role in their treatment but with a risk of toxicity associated with the dose to and volume of normal tissue that is irradiated.

Dynamic Binder Exchange Improves Protein Labeling Efficiency in DNA‐PAINT up to 15‐Fold

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie International Edition, EarlyView.
Dynamic Binder Exchange (DyBE) leverages transient binder–target interactions to enhance labeling efficiency by up to 15‐fold in super‐resolution microscopy. DyBE maps nanoscale receptor tyrosine kinase (RTK) assemblies, including HER2 homodimers and EGFR–HER2 heterodimers, advancing single‐protein spatial proteomics.

Physioxia Expanded Bone Marrow Derived Mesenchymal Stem Cells Have Improved Cartilage Repair in an Early Osteoarthritic Focal Defect Model

open access: yesBiology, 2020
Focal early osteoarthritis (OA) or degenerative lesions account for 60% of treated cartilage defects each year. The current cell-based regenerative treatments have an increased failure rate for treating degenerative lesions compared to traumatic defects.

Peripheral Nerve Regeneration–Adipose-Tissue-Derived Stem Cells Differentiated by a Three-Step Protocol Promote Neurite Elongation via NGF Secretion

open access: yesCells, 2022
The lack of supportive Schwann cells in segmental nerve lesions seems to be one cornerstone for the problem of insufficient nerve regeneration. Lately, adipose-tissue-derived stem cells (ASCs) differentiated towards SC (Schwann cell)-like cells seem to ...

Recent works on the Strauss conjecture

open access: yes, 2012
In this review paper, we summarize the current state-of-art on the Strauss conjecture with nontrapping obstacles. Among others, three essential estimates are emphasized and presented: Morawetz-KSS estimates (also known as local energy estimates ...

Churg-Strauss Syndrome with Necrosis of Toe Tips [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
Churg-Strauss syndrome (CSS) is a granulomatous necrotizing vasculitis of unknown etiology associated with bronchial asthma. Despite affecting small to medium-sized vessels, necrosis of the digits due to vasculitis is extremely rare.

Consistency of likelihood estimation for Gibbs point processes [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
Strong consistency of the maximum likelihood estimator (MLE) for parametric Gibbs point process models is established. The setting is very general.
