Stress-Minimizing Orthogonal Layout of Data Flow Diagrams with Ports [PDF]
We present a fundamentally different approach to orthogonal layout of data flow diagrams with ports. This is based on extending constrained stress majorization to cater for ports and flow layout. Because we are minimizing stress we are able to better display global structure, as measured by several criteria such as stress, edge-length variance, and ...

Internal Stress Diagrams of Sintering Stress versus Viscosity for Graded Multilayers
The internal stress of graded powder compacts during sintering is analyzed by using plate theory with shrinkage and warpage taken into consideration. Diagrams giving the in-plane stress on the surface of the compacts, produced by mismatch and bending, are presented as a function of sintering stress and viscosity.

Welding thermal stress diagrams as a means of assessing material proneness to residual stresses [PDF]

Comparison between concrete stress diagrams according to the Brazilian standard ABNT NBR 6118: 2014
This study aims to compare methods for the determination of concrete properties by means of the stress diagrams present in the Brazilian standard ABNT NBR 6118: 2014. The area under the stress diagram, the internal reactions, and the application point of

Stress-Strain diagrams for non-convex particles [PDF]
While most granular materials in nature and technology consist of non-convex particles, the majority of discrete element (DEM) codes are still only able to cope with convex particles, due to the complexity of the computational geometry and the occurrence

Stress-strain Diagrams of Concrete Under Repeated Loads with Compressive Stresses
AbstractThe article discusses the general characteristics of the deformation of concrete under repeated cyclic loads of compressive stresses observed in the experiments executed by the authors, as well as domestic and foreign researchers. Based on experimental data of fixed and variable levels of stress, limits have been defined for reference points of
