Targeting Decidual CD16+ Immune Cells with Exosome‐Based Glucocorticoid Nanoparticles for Miscarriage

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Exosome‐based nanoparticles (GC‐Exo‐CD16Ab) are designed to deliver glucocorticoids (GC) specifically to decidual CD16+ NK cells and macrophages. This targeted delivery effectively suppresses the cytotoxicity of decidual NK cells, inhibits M1 macrophage polarization, and modulates the decidual microenvironment.

Ataxin-2-like is a regulator of stress granules and processing bodies.

open access: yesPLoS ONE, 2012
Paralogs for several proteins implicated in neurodegenerative disorders have been identified and explored to further facilitate the identification of molecular mechanisms contributing to disease pathogenesis.

Compartmentalisation and localisation of the translation initiation factor (eIF) 4F complex in normally growing fibroblasts [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
Previous observations of association of mRNAs and ribosomes with subcellular structures highlight the importance of localised translation. However, little is known regarding associations between eukaryotic translation initiation factors and cellular ...

Protein and metabolite composition of Arabidopsis stress granules.

open access: yesNew Phytologist, 2019
Stress granules (SGs) are evolutionary conserved aggregates of proteins and untranslated mRNAs formed in response to stress. Despite their importance for stress adaptation, no complete proteome composition has been reported for plant SGs.

Advancing the Identification of Bioactive Molecules and the Construction of a Synergistic Drug Delivery System in Combating Lung Injury

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), while holistic and historically esteemed, faces challenges in “miracle cures” due to slow onset, long cycles, and difficulty controlling quality. This study obtains the active ingredients, glabridin (GLA) and puerarin (PUE), from Ge‐Gen Decoction (GGD), developing a safe and effective drug delivery system, GLA‐PUE ...

Stress Granules Regulate Double-Stranded RNA-Dependent Protein Kinase Activation through a Complex Containing G3BP1 and Caprin1

open access: yesmBio, 2015
Stress granules (SGs) are dynamic cytoplasmic repositories containing translationally silenced mRNAs that assemble upon cellular stress. We recently reported that the SG nucleating protein G3BP1 promotes antiviral activity and is essential in double ...

An improved axiomatic definition of information granulation [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2009
To capture the uncertainty of information or knowledge in information systems, various information granulations, also known as knowledge granulations, have been proposed. Recently, several axiomatic definitions of information granulation have been introduced. In this paper, we try to improve these axiomatic definitions and give a universal construction

ZMYND8 Reads H3K36me2 to Activate CEBPE Transcription and Suppress Multiple Myeloma Progression through the Inhibition of Adaptive UPR Pathways

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Zinc‐finger MYND‐type‐containing 8 (ZMYND8) activates the transcription of CCAAT/enhancer‐binding protein epsilon by recognizing dimethylation of lysine 36 in histone H3 through its Pro‐Trp‐Trp‐Pro domain, thereby inhibiting adaptive unfolded protein response pathways to suppress the proliferation and invasion of multiple myeloma (MM) cells ...

STRESS GRANULES MODULATE SYK TO CAUSE MICROGLIAL DYSFUNCTION IN ALZHEIMER’S DISEASE [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
Microglial cells in the brains of Alzheimer’s patients are recruited to amyloid beta (Aβ) plaques and exhibit an activated phenotype, but are defective for plaque removal by phagocytosis. To explore the molecular basis for these phenomena, I hypothesized
